Wesley's Notes for Hebrews 12:25

12:25 Refuse not - By unbelief. Him that speaketh - And whose speaking even now is a prelude to the final scene. The same voice which spake both by the law and in the gospel, when heard from heaven, will shake heaven and earth. For if they escaped not - His vengeance. Much more shall not we - Those of us who turn from him that speaketh from heaven - That is, who came from heaven to speak to us.

People's Bible Notes for Hebrews 12:25

Heb 12:25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. The whole Old Testament shows that those who refused to listen to God's message delivered by men did not escape. How can those escape then who refuse to listen to God's own Son?

Jesus says in John 8:47 that His own people were not able to understand Him because they had sin in their lives. Please be prayerful about telling people to know or believe Christ has nothing to do with sin because they must acknowledge they are a sinner ask for forgiveness and follow his godly example that what proves that we know Him out character. That why the Scribes hated Him Him read these scriptures. If this thing to know Jesus wasn't about us sinning why did He come. He came to turn us to Him yes but by exposing the truth that we're sinful with His blood was for the remission of sins. It can only be cancelled if people receive Him by acknowledging first they are sinners. That what all the disciples went to preach. He saved Mary Magdalene but said 'Go and sin no more.' That's why so many people are confused. We must love help and yes people should see Jesus in the right light. Believe He is tell them but why do we leave out, 'Go and sin no more.' It's His word and to know Him is for Him to help them with their struggles. Cause if sis isn't and issue then the world must be getting better cause there's a lot of killing, sexual sin, lying and etc, etc but God said we would not inherit the kingdom if we continue on this path. ,2nd Timothy chapter 3. So yes change our minds to know Christ but go and sin no more. Be blessed!

My friend told me that judgement day will never come, but she's wrong. As I know Faith is stronger than fear. You just have to laugh at fear. Laughter and happiness is stronger than anything.

To my elect: the commandment to repent is now come. The wicked will now certainly do wickedly as nothing will be restrained from them the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat. Repent and be filled with my Spirit. See that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: have fervent charity among yourselves and have peace in Christ Jesus.
