11:9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise - The promise was made before, #Gen 12:7|. Dwelling in tents - As a sojourner With Isaac and Jacob - Who by the same manner of living showed the same faith Jacob was born fifteen years before the death of Abraham. The joint heirs of the same promise - Having all the same interest therein. Isaac did not receive this inheritance from Abraham, nor Jacob from Isaac, but all of them from God. #Gen 17:8|

    Yess!! This chapter just blessed my Entire soul and it open my eyes to what faith really is its not just saying God i trust you with a little of my situation its saying "God take full control and let YOUR will be done , all of you and none of me " Amen i truly hope this blesses someone as it did me.

    What is faith? That was my first thought on reading this chapter long ago. This is what the Holy Spirit showed me, it's a deep abiding conviction in God, a surrender to His will, and a change in conduct from a sinner to more than just a believer. The Hebrews Paul was talking to had become stagnant in their faith and walk with God. He was showing them the truth of deep commitment by those in past.
