Hebrews 11:3 (KJV) True faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Does it mean we will have access to the Universe that God created?

    Thank you

Bill; Happy New Year! I love Hebrews 11. The examples of faith teach us the very reality, like you said, "NOT an abstract!" So much is thrown at us; especially when we're new to the Bible; to make everything so complicated and mysterious, which the LORD actually gave us in the simplest and purest ways! Wouldn't you say, if we start with a wholesome simplicity of childlike faith it would be better?

Faith is not an abstract belief in the word of God neither is it just giving mental assent and willing it to be so Faith is an operation of God , a devine illumination, a holy energy implanted in the believer by the word and the Holy Ghost...

What is faith? That was my first thought on reading this chapter long ago. This is what the Holy Spirit showed me, it's a deep abiding conviction in God, a surrender to His will, and a change in conduct from a sinner to more than just a believer. The Hebrews Paul was talking to had become stagnant in their faith and walk with God. He was showing them the truth of deep commitment by those in past.
