Heb 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth. Deliberately trample under foot Christ's will; apostasize from the faith in life. There remaineth no more sacrifice for sins. We have, in that case, rejected Christ, the only sacrifice for sin.

Discussion for Hebrews 10:26

  • Ralph owen for verse 26
The born again not capable of any sinning--the text refers to those coming to the door of justification, but never entering in and returning to judaism or their gentile sinning.Bless God
  • What is being discussed is a total abandonment of your faith in the Lord a walking away, a total denial that Jesus is Lord after having tasted of His goodness and mercy. If you allow that to occur in your heart, there is no forgiveness for that and no one to forgive you, for the only One that could, you now deny.
  • Masanga Edwin for verse 26
a jast need substantial explanations about sins that cannot be forgiven
  • You will loose your Salvation. I too don 't beleive of that saying, "once you save you are always save ". Jesus didn 't die for nothing. There 's a different between "forgiveness " and "remission " of sins. Forgive means forget but remission means there in NO more evidence on it. Our sin has been forgotten and completely wipe off by the blood of Jesus. It is what it is as the bible say Heb 10:26. If we sin "Wifully " after.... There it is. Please read Romans 6:1-2 That is what the completion of this verse. Thank you.

  • Scary verse. I 've read some comments say, Saved or unsaved sinners will not go to heaven... ??? How can one be saved but go to hell ? In such case, what are we saved from ? I have like many, willingly sinned after knowing the truth, not that I am proud of it and I 'd be foolish to say that it won 't happen again... but we have a saviour who took our sins upon himself not only for past sins but all sins... And this is done out of a love beyond comprehension... Those who once accepted the gift of God 's son in their lives and who continue to live a sinful life... God will reach them in his own way. Those who will cry Lord, Lord on judgement day... will be the ones who lived their lives with the thought of never needing Jesus.. Those who judged others. Read Luke 18 12 14
