I believe this Chapter echos America today - we are the Chaldens. Our militeray dictatorship marching throughout the breadth of the Land forcefully setting up military bases without regard for humanity and acquiring what is not ours.

Habakkuk is a watchman, and he is crying out to God to do something about the evil that is going on in Judea. Well the Lord is about to use a nation more wicked than them to correct them.

So it is today, that the Lord will use the wicked people today to correct his people. God is holy, and his eyes too pure to look upon sin. No wonder why when Jesus cried out on the cross my
God why has thou forsaken me? It was at that time when our sin was placed on the Lord Jesus Christ, that the father had to turn his back on the son. Thank God that Jesus became our propituation. The discipline of the present time is not joyous, but grievous, yet nevertheless it yields the peaciable fruits of righteousness to those who are exercised there by. So God so loved the world, that he gave his only son, that who ever believes in him would not perish, but would have eternal life. Jesus is our life, and when we come to him by faith, we will live with him through out eternity in heaven. So the just shall live by faith, and wait on the Lord. For the vision is for the end time, and it shall tarry yet it will speak.

lol, that whole section cracks me up. Because he's just like anyone now who's getting burned by someone else. Except he said, he was going to nark everyone out to the Chaldean's and send them to stomp on all of them out!

He's all saying, how come I'm doing a good job, but you have these guys who are giving you the finger, and ruling them selves. They probably burn insense to their little ponzy schemes from how many suckers it nets into their organization.

Everyone lies and tons are getting burned by these dudes. So I guess that makes me like, an ant?

Well guess what, this ant is gonna raise up some Chaldeans to curby all those people who took my saturday morning paper! And take them some dwelling places that actually don't belong to them.

But Big G Man, I don't want to have my homies ride all over these guys. They will straight up take their bathrooms and coolers! And all their goatsmilk-lite. You said I was special but I still can't get a job because I don't want to turn into a douche like the guys netting up more people to vote for them. Support them and burn us.

It's the same thing that always happens but it's cool how you can see when you're mad how this is a bullied civilian. Who notices corruption in his government and actually starts a plan to sell all of them out in a big way...

The New World Translation's version of Habakkuk 1:9 reads as follows:

In its entirety it comes for mere violence. The assembling of their faces is as [the] east wind, and it gathers up captives just like the sand.
