Hello, love the site, is very helpfull! i have a question: why sometimes the creator is called Lord and other times is called Lord God? Isnt Moses talking about two different "people"? Thank you and God bless you.
I believe that the fallen angels were angels like Satan. This God had to destroy them for their wickedness. It wasn't meant for angels and earth woman to mate. End of story it wasn't his plan so he had to end their wickedness.
The Sons and Daughters of God is the person who admit thereselve that they are a sinner( Romans 3:10), repent from there sins( Acts 17:30) and knowing that Jesus Christ is there Lord and personal savior( John 1:12). If they receive Christ they will become his sons and daughters of God, and they receive "Eternal Life( John 10:28).
Gen 6:18 doesn't match your question. Gen 7:2 tells us how many of each kind of animal God said to put on the Ark. "Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female." The words "by sevens" means by 7 pairs (14 total). Of each pair is a male and female. The unclean was only 1 male
responds to Glenda; I'm not sure what your question is, unless it's the problem of verse 6:19 and verse 7:2. Taking seven pairs of clean animals, and only one pair of unclean? Clean and unclean is not really specified until the book of Leviticus, is that your question, or are you puzzled at the distinction without clarification? The LORD's instructions were perhaps meant to teach Noah? Any help?
In the original version of the King James in Genesis 6:18 the two animals were unclean. It went on to give another number for clean. Can you provide me those numbers?
Joe those that dig deep in the scriptures that use the old Strong's know that these sons of God are fallen angels who took women as playthings and had babies that were giants. Wickedness from the wicked one.
Thank you so much for your help with this. You are doing a wonderful work for The Lord. Looking forward to seeing you in Heaven. Even though you are and hour away from me, I would love to visit your church. God Bless!
Descendants of Cain. Did he have his own babies, or did a female? If a female, where did she come from? Another child of Adam and Eve, or from some other source?
This chapter reflects the supernatural powers of our God , and How God bless Noah with wisdom and knowledge to built the ark and save His creation from the floods.
The spies in the Book of Joshua gave an account of giants in Canaan. Could it be there were survivors of the flood? If not where did all of this giants i.e Goliath came from? There is also a common belief that the giants after the flood were not similar to the pre flood giants in other words they are of big size but possessed no supernatural powers. Who built the pyramid and was it built before or after Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt?
Giant did exist! Noah was not perfect by deeds but genetically perfect. His blood line had no corruption or genes from these giants or fallen angels . God cleansed the world to make way for Jesus Christ. Our messiah had to be perfect in every way! Especially genetically! I believe giants help build the ark.Read the taboo book of Enoch and decided for yourself
God's grace, which would bring salvation to the world through Jesus, was evident to Noah. The Jewish writer David Bergelson wrote this in the story 'At Night' "A good word: 'And Noah found GRACE'. It saved the world."
I believe everything that is written in the Bible.it is the true word of God.I believe that God created all mankind. That includes giants, the Bible talks about David killing the giant Goliath. So you have to believe giants roamed the earth.
Shiko Jane, God gave us His son. Is this not enough? Carla, you asked what my thoughts on verse 3 "my spirit will not always strive with men " and what I immediately thought of was.....What endurance God 's Holy Spirit has to strive as long as He has with men..............
Verse 18 it has really challanged me,God found noah to be faithful to an extend he made a covenant with him...surely,can God find us worthy to make covenant with us??......God,may ur grace be sufficient to us...
From the book of Enoch I believe there is a possibility. Let 's keep reading. 9 And he answered me, and said: "Because of a great matter I have come to you, and because of a disturbing vision, have I come near. 10 And now hear me, my father, for a child has been born to my son Lamech, whose form and type are not like the type of a man. His colour is whiter than snow, and redder than the flower of the rose, and the hair of his head is whiter than white wool. And his eyes are like the rays of the Sun and he opened his eyes and made the whole house bright. 11 And he was taken from the hand of the midwife, and he opened his mouth, and blessed the Lord of Heaven. 12 And his father Lamech was afraid and fled to me. And he does not believe he is sprung from him but thinks him to be from the Angels of Heaven. And behold, I have come to you, so that you may make known to me the truth. " 13 And I, Enoch, answered and said to him: "The Lord will do new things on Earth, and this I have already seen in a vision, and made known to you. For in the generation of my father, Jared, some from the height of Heaven transgressed the word of the Lord. 14 And behold, they commit sin and transgress the law, and have been promiscuous with women, and commit sin with them, and have married some of them, and have begotten children by them.
sons of god Bene alohim angels or a special type of angels..because as most people don 't know, in heaven their are different ranks of angels. Angels are messengers or servants of god, there pretty much the go between the spirtiual and physical world. Throughout the bible, we have cases were angels stepped down in their divinty, and took on mortal bodies. Genisis 6 is definity talking about angels. Their other books in the bible to back up this up as well. I know alot of people have a hard time wrapping there head around this, but as Mark twain said: " The truth is stranger than fiction. "
who are the sons of God and daughters of men in Genesis chapter 6
