A lot of info can be found by reading the Forgotten Books of the Bible, especially on Adam and Eve. May not be proven as the Bible is, but does seem to nake a lot of sense
Verse 15 The Mark of Cain - What is it ?? The person who would confront Cain will know with out a doubt the Mark which God had put upon Cain for all-time as his punishment for his sin. The person will leave Cain to go his own way. Amen.
Cain's offering was not rejected by God because of what he offered, its because of how he offered it. The Lord looks into our hearts.
Cain must have married his sister. The Bible does not record any other creation except for Adam & Eve and we are told that after Cain & Abel Adam got other sons and daughters.
"By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh." ( Hebrews 11:4)
And from the Hebrew texts; "And Abel he too brought of the firstborn of his flocks and of their fattest, and the Lord turned to Abel and to his offering."
And again, when we look to Jewish sacrificial practices we see that Fat represented perfection and good health in the sacrificial animal.
At first thought, "Doing not well" comes across as doing bad, but not quite so! Here, sin is being anthropomorphized as a ravening beast. It is identified separately from "doing not well", so we know they're not the same. Doing not well is simply the lack of doing good. It is being lukewarm.
A subtle but profound piece of advice is offered in this verse.
If we want to avoid sin, we should constantly occupy ourselves with doing good. Mediocrity is a street that leads to a really bad neighborhood.
A predator most often goes after the weak. So we should be putting on an excessively athletic display (of goodness) in an attempt to discourage it (sin). We want the ravenous beast to look and say, "Forget that!"

Adam is the Hebrew word for 'man', while eve means 'source of life'. The word we translated to rib is an ambiguous term which refers to the side. So, God took one of/from man's side. To this day we often refer to our spouse as 'our other half' or even 'our better half'. And again, it is written that when man and woman come together they become one flesh. We become whole again.
Individuals living in excess of 900 years doesn't comply with the 120 year limit God placed on man's life. However, if we look at each individual as representing an entire body of people living during a period it starts to make sense. Many of your family names still reflect similar practices. Smith, Gardner, Cook, Baker, Mason, etc.
Such answers tend to open more questions than they answer, but that may be a tell-tale sign that we're actually getting somewhere. The more we know, the more we know we don't know.
I have read several comments regarding the questions of where everyone came from as the bible mentions only males and I have drawn a conclusion that during Adam's long life their was other sons and daughters born unto them. It is also my conclusion that there was incest at that time. Look at it this way, if God made other people there would be those who knew no sin because they were not around when Adam and Eve ate of the forbidden fruit. Should we say God created other Gardens and all groups followed the same thoughts? To much coincidences!

The Bible isn't careless with words. The mention of 'the fat thereof' is deliberate, as is the omission if it in regards to Cain's offering.
If it's not the best, then what is it? It's blemished. Cain's offering was comparable to fruit that was stunted, malformed, bruised, worm-eaten, pecked, or otherwise damaged. It was the undesirables of his harvest. It was, in every sense, 'bad fruit'. (And this may very well be the source of its metaphorical use.) What is unacceptable for the table is typically thrown to the livestock, but Cain offered it to God.
Depending on your state of being, a long life can be either a blessing or a curse. In the instance of Cain, we understand that his condition is nothing less than tormented. So to guarantee that Cain would have to endure his punishment until his body decayed from old age, and ultimately failed, was tantamount to a life-sentence.
The brief mention of Lamech's similar situation compliments this lesson by providing us with a few more bits of valuable information.

And he fathered sons and daughters.� This does not say when they were born. Many could have been born in the 130 years ( Genesis 5:3) before Seth was born.
During their lives, Adam and Eve had a number of male and female children. The Jewish historian Josephus wrote that, �The number of Adam's children, as says the old tradition, was thirty-three sons and twenty-three daughters.�[11]
The Bible does not tell us how many children were born to Adam and Eve. However, considering their long life spans (Adam lived for 930 years� Genesis 5:5), it would seem reasonable to suggest there were many! Remember, They were commanded to �Be fruitful, and multiply� ( Genesis 1:28).
I have the same question ...but who will ever answer those question ...is there maybe something that we didn't really understood ...and Cain should be slaughtered from who ?

He also created other men and women to replenish the earth and they were all called Adam in the day that they were created by the hand of God. The Adam who named his wife Eve was of the lineage of Christ and that is why his story is relevant.Plus the fact that he was the first Adam created.
Sorry, but you are wrong. Life after death is a pagan philosophy insituted by aristotle and socrates to dumb down the masses. They didnt believe in it al all. There is also many bible quotes that back this up. Think about it, if the soul was immortal and instantly rose, then what would be the point of the ressurection and 2nd coming of Jesus. The bible says, "The dead in Christ shall rise" and the sea will give up its dead. If judgment happened already why would this be necessary??

@Betty and the others questioning where the other people came from, back then the people would marry within family so Cain married his sister. She is not mentioned as being born because if you notice through out the Bible only male births were mentioned.
