The wages of sin is death its the law . Why? God is the God of the living, not the God of the dead. Death brings about judgement. And judgement results in condemnation. Take note: Didn't the Lord die? He did and will be judged. He will be judged JUST and the justifier of those in Him. Maybe now, we can comprehend His unthinkable sacrifice and meaning of, "My God why have you forsaken?"

And Take The Helmet of Salvation and The Sword of The Spirit which is The Word of God(Ephesian 6:17) For The Word of God is Quick and Powerful, Sharper than Any Twoedged Sword---( Hebrews 4:12) A Flaming Sword is The Word of God, That kept Adam and Eve out of The Garden. And The Word was Made Flesh and Dwelt Among Us ( John 1:14)
  • SS on Genesis 3
Satan questioned what God said, which brought doubt.
He questioned then he lied. Don't listen to questioning of God's word. I remember asking Jesus to give a scripture that would show me he is God, he gave Matthew 4:7

1 ow the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the gard
  • Ss on Genesis 3
    Stop listening after the lie.

4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof,

The Gift of Eternal Separation in a Lake of Fire. We Still have The Same Choice to Choose Right or wrong, Good or evil. They Were Told not to eat of the fruit of One Tree. They had it All. What The Tree Showed was Our Disobedience and Desire for More. Any One of Us would have Done The Same. Thanks to The Lamb We Can Eat From The Tree of Life( Revelation 22:14)
  • Seth on Genesis 3
    The only thing I dont understand is;
When we were created we were given free will which set us above animals and angels etc.
Then because of that free will we disobeyed. Eating the fruit gave us knowledge of good and evil. But we are not on the same level as God, which is what the tree was meant to do. So what "gifts" did the tree give us, that wasnt already provided by free will??
  • Bruce on Genesis 3
That's a Little Backwards. It Proves We are Sinners Unable to Eat of The Tree of Life. Keep Back by A Flaming Sword. Verse 24. Christ is not a Replacement. He is The Only Sacrifice that can Open The Way to The Tree of Life. Without The Blood of The Lamb We are Doomed. It is Impossible to have Your Sins Washed Away by the blood of Bulls and Goats( Hebrews 10:4) if Called ask Forgiveness( John 6:44)!
  • Servant of the most high God on Genesis 3
Jesus Christ The Lord Of Lords And King Of Kings The Son Of God. With out Jesus doing what he did every single man and woman ever created was condemed in there sin. Jesus made a way for anyone man or woman to go to heaven for there was no way. Read the gospel of John all of it and pray to Jesus Christ to forgive you of your sins repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
  • Tomas Ray McCartney on Genesis 3
22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

This to me proves we were always forgiven for our innocence and lack of understanding evil due to we are born innocent. Jesus just replaced burnt and blood sacrifice with prayer. Nothing more.
  • Iola johnson on Genesis 3
We must always obey God as he said in his words.
  • Fran on Genesis 3
The seed of the woman , speaks of Jesus who he alone will destroy the Devil. Man will have to deal with evil and sin until Jesus destroy the evil Satan. This chapter speaks of the fall of man, and the coming of a savior. Man alone can not stop the Devil. Man faces many tribulation until Jesus come to save us..
  • Sally on Genesis 3
Deny ourselves. Do God's will. Be.content. Summit to God and resist the devil.
  • Chris watson on Genesis 3
Out of all the world religions there are only two religions. The false religion of man trying to create a way back to God on mans terms and the true religion of God providing man a way to come to him. A perfect template of a false and true religion : The fig leaves to present themselves before God (false religion) God slaughtered animals to produce skins (true). Human works (false) Christ (true).
  • Sally on Genesis 3
They disobeyed God's Commandment Have no confusion in the glesh.
  • Artie Vanlandingham on Genesis 3
The first two set aside for Gods purpose was Adam and Eve, so they are the first prophets who failed in total submission of one law, so many more laws do not give us Gods respect. The law of avoiding sin is not righteous since we have love and compassion that is unborn toward those we have enmity against. The tree of life is the spirit of sacrifice when Gods love suffered for a son and the word.
  • Alex on Genesis 3
God told MOSES that his NAME WAS ABRAHAM ISSAC AND JACOB, THIS MY NAME FORVER MY MEMORIAL TO ALL GENERATIONS SIMPLY B/C THESE 3 MEN ARE A METAPHOR FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD ABRAHAM OFFERED UP HIS ONLY SON JUST AS THE HEAVENLY ABRAHAM OFFERED UP HIS ONLY SON CHRIST JESUS. • Jeff Gullett on Genesis 3
If you read 1Timothy chapter 4 verse 4 . God made all animals for food . We just need to be thankful for his blessing that we have them...
  • TruthFromtheBook on Genesis 3
Animals were originally grass eating, even lions and bears. But after the flood, God allowed man to eat animals (see Genesis 9:3). 1 Tim. 4:3 says, "Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth." During the Millenium, animals will eat grass again (see Isaiah 65:25).
  • Sandra on Genesis 3
I see that he provided fruit, and herbs and grass but no mention made of eating meat. Are we supposed to be vegans?
  • Carolyn on Genesis 3
Adam was given instructions by his creator of what he could and could not do and dominion over all living things. That information was past to his help mate. Satan saw an opportunity and used it for his advancement, which introduced sin into the world. And today he has the advantage to deceive but like any guardian or parent. God made it clear of their wrongs and the punishment for disobeying
  • Jason Turner on Genesis 3
The tree of knowledge of good and evil is Satan. God wasn't telling Adam
  • ST. ANGELO on Genesis 3
If JESUS is referred to as the TREE OF LIFE, then who is the TREE OF KNOWLDGE OF GOOD and EVIL?
  • Sandy Trask on Genesis 3
The conversation Eve was having with the serpent in chapter three showed she was told by God or Adam not to eat from the Tree of Knowledge. My question is could they have eaten from the Tree of Life without punishment. If so, if they were evil they'd have premeditated and ate from the Tree of Life first before being exiled from the Garden. Just a mistake as we all do and we're allowed to repent.
  • Alex on Genesis 3
The Ark of the Covenant was an earthy expression of a HEAVENLY KINGDOM IN THE MOST HOLY PLACE WAS THE FATHER BETWEEN THE 2 CHURIBIM OF GLORY,GOD WD NOT SHARE HIS GLORY WITH THE 2 CHURIBIM OF GLORY UNLESS THEY WERE ALL 3 RELATED AS FATHER SON N GRANSON,ISAIAH DESCRIBES ONE OF THESE WINGED CREATURES AS IMMANUEL GOD WITH US, Malachi describes tHE other as the Son of RIGHTEOUSNESS with HEALING WINGS.
  • Alex on Genesis 3

  • Munya on Genesis 3
    1. Is GOD actually in three - a TRINITY? I think God is ONE - a UNITY? The fact that He manifests as Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit or His Written Word does not break Him into parts. I think defining God is limiting Him.
    2. Did we really inherit Adam's sin or we sin by our own choice or freewill? If we inherited sin, it's not our problem, just as we cannot be judged for a hereditary disease.
  • Sharon purnell on Genesis 3
God did not tell Eve not to eat from the tree...he only told Adam and he told him before Eve was made...re read chapter2 and 3
  • Alex on Genesis 3
Mans Carnal mind is Satans head, thats y Jesus called Peter Satan.Peter was expressing his carnal mind TELLING Jesus he did NOT have to go to Jerusalem and die for humanity,The scripture even tells us that mans carnal mind is the very enemy of GOD ( Satan ) SO thats what is gonna be bruised (deleted ) is OUR CARNAL MIND we are gonna have the mind of Christ. CHRIST FEET WERE BRUISED AT THE CROSS.
  • BSP on Genesis 3
Verse 2~Eve had been told the command not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and bad. She clearly stated the command here and this shows that she knew what she should not have done and what she should have done.
  • Ray Jay on Genesis 3
“Behold man has become like one of us...” other possibilities: we know that Satan was also in the garden and he also knows good from evil, so it could have been that. It could have been GOD speaking about his Angels. It could be GOD speaking about his TRINITY. We really don’t know. I always assumed it was the Trinity personally. What GOD’s conscious was saying/thinking to himself, but who knows
