Hello yes I was raised Seventh-day Adventist says right there the rest of the seventh day and they changed it to Sunday I cannot tell you the suffering and the abuse and the way I was pretty much really made fun of because we went to church on Saturday years of abuse I was called the most weirdest person in the neighborhood on the right forget it and I grew up between Newport and Laguna beach
"host" Joshua 10:5 (trained soldiers) (armed servants) "5 Kings and all their host, encamped before Gibeon."
"host of heaven" Deuteronomy 4:19 (are god's created angels), Deuteronomy 17:3.
For nanah...verse 8 clearly states that the garden was planted eastward in eden. If you continue to read the scriptures and truely study them...meaning taking each one apart and meditating on them..all of your answers are there!!!!
Many have over looked several things. 1. judgement. God was judging Adam when its said (God) watched Adam to see what he would say/call them.
2: When you read where Adam says a man can leave his mother and Father and cleave to his wife. I don't see where God told Adam he had to leave Garden or his Father /God.
3. when he cleaved to eve/flesh we do the same and not God
now you have to remember one thing about God, he is the Creator, i said he is the Creator. God created everything with age. God created the garden of eden and when they sinned God just took it from the earth. so the garden was just gone and never to be found. Remember God is the creator of everything and if he don't want it there any longer it just disappears.
I enjoy reading all the commentary. Views and opinions are extremely important, however at the end of the day his word is settled we cannot add to it, or takeaway from it.
I often behold in awesome wonder, the marvel of creation. The omnipotence of God is not in doubt. The scientists are intimidated by the power of God in creating us as humans and all things visible and invisible in the unfathomable, ever-expanding universe (multiverse). Praise Jesus.
At first when I started reading the bible at a younger age I miss understood a lot of it . Now that I am older I'm really understanding it more . For starters I use to feel bad about the serpent convincing eve to eat from the tree of knowledge but now I honestly don't knowing that she did to have the power of God and disobeying him as well.
Gen. 2:25 they were not ashamed they were naked, do you think that even as God the Father is called the Father of Light, and we the children of light, that there was a glow about Adam and Eve. So when they fell into sin, they were ashamed and sought to cover themselves because they had died spiritually even as God said.Later it is interesting that Jesus cursed the fig tree , for not bearing fruit.
God is awesome designer, from the dust of the earth and His breath of life He made Adam. Combination of dust and breath produced the living soul! After sin, we are told, reverse happens: till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.( Gen 3:19) Clearly death is revers of life. When we die we just sleep in the ground.

actually the first sin was Genesis 3:6 (possibly v. 2 where Eve even spoke back to the serpent!) - v. 6, she ate of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
The tree of Life is that same Tree in Revelation and that is Jesus Christ and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is Satan. Just so you know all the other trees where fruit trees.
