  • Annette Martinez on Genesis 1 - 8 years ago
God created us and all things for him, Therefore give God the glory, And praise. But he also gave his only begotten son Jesus Christ to die for our sins, again Give God the Glory and praise. I believe God died for us and his spirit was manifested into Mother Mary.He was born for us to understand our temptations which Jesus resisted and he lives us so much , we now can be saved from our sins.

    V. 26 says God created man and woman, Adam and Eve got things started, God told them to be fruitful and multiply= populating the earth.
  • Word on Genesis 1 - 8 years ago
God created all the races covering earth vs 26 to get things started
  • Dar on Genesis 1 - 8 years ago
I disagree that God can do anything. I believe he will not break his own laws. Jesus could not do much healing in his own town because of unbelief.
  • Word on Genesis 1 - 8 years ago
Sophie God created a beautiful earth written in Isaiah 45:18 and all the children, both sons
  • Bernadeth sumile on Genesis 1 - 8 years ago
i really like how Jesus made the world....so fanastic.
  • Lu2677 on Genesis 1 - 8 years ago
Adam and Eve were created without sin; Then they sinned; and everyone born after the fall (except for Christ) is born into sin. To say "we were created without sin" is in err of scripture.
  • A New Child of God on Genesis 1 - 8 years ago
God is the creator because he can simply will something into existence. All man can do is make things through the use of the tools that God has given us. We were created in his image in the sense that we were created without sin. We chose to let sin enter our lives and were changed forever. This is why Christ came: To redeem us from our sinful state.
  • Courious reader on Genesis 1 - 8 years ago
so if I read it right God wanted us (man) to guard over the fish, birds and cattle...He gave us fruits and seeds and herbs to eat as meat. When did He give permission to eat meat?
He created "man" in His own image...His likeness...yet God is LIGHT..comfusing

  • Lu2677 on Genesis 1 - 8 years ago
God is no respecter of men. "Smarts" don't matter to him, faith matters to him. I don't see any "exploding" stars forming the earth in Genesis 1.
  • Pete on Genesis 1 - 8 years ago
It appears that God made earth first and then he made the stars. Yet all of the elements that make up the earth came from exploding stars. I think he did that to test the faith of smart people.
  • Mariama sanoh on Genesis 1 - 8 years ago

  • Word on Genesis 1 - 8 years ago
John in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the WORD was God and think about it the Word is the LIGHT! And the Word created all things. And the Word said let us make man in OUR image and He didn't leave Himself out because He said when you have seen Me you've seen the Father. Father wouldn't ask us to do something He wouldn't do but He loved us with all His heart paid a price.

I think it's absolutely beautiful, I think that this is a rich piece of text and much can be learned from it. The power of God is amazing, I'm a reborn Christian and I intend to read the entirety of the Holy Bible and learn more about the truths of God.

Is is the beginning of life on earth in six days. Each day gives a description of objects created and it's purpose. After each day of creation,God blesses the day he has made. In the image of God he created man to take care of his art in the way he visioned it.
  • Barbara Stewart on Genesis 1 - 8 years ago
Genesis is the beginning of our lives as God has created us, it is up to us once we have learned of God and all he is to us to obey his word. Our parents are held solely responsible for our upbringing in the church as children. My one way of thinking is at what point does it become our own responsibility to continue serving and the burden taken off the parents. God never left his son, ever.
  • Kenneth G Redden on Genesis 1 - 8 years ago
The apostle Paul is demonstrating, in few words [ Eph 3:3], how to use ideas and patterns to get more information from the KJV text. For example, 2Peter 3:3 uses Knowing this first as a reference to the everlasting in Genesis 1:1, and days to represent the many times the first day has appeared, from everlasting to everlasting [ Psa 90:2].

  • Steven on Genesis 1 - 8 years ago
You were able to understand the creation with reference to the soul and then it seems as if you lost track and started to think naturally. I would have liked to have seen you carry that through for the whole chapter. Keep up the good work. You are welcome to contact me in this regard if you so wish.
  • Olufemi onagoruwa on Genesis 1 - 8 years ago
What a way to experience God's Liberty wherever His Spirit is. All that was created was empowered to bring forth a replication in such manner that pleases God, likewise man, who is to have dominion on all creation. God had already finished the race of man in Adam. Wow. What an awesome God He is. Hallelujah. May His purpose for creation spring forth with continuous obedience in our lives.
  • Don A. on Genesis 1 - 8 years ago
