God knows all the answers , we as not perfect people are not able to know everything yet, when our time comes to meet our Saviour, then we'll learn more about Creation , Loving one another etc. Jesus told us, I came to teach you simple things, like loving one another, loving your enemy etc, becoming like a child to believe and accept what I'm telling you and the result has been, that we don't want to believe the love of the truth so that we might be saved, And for that cause He send us strong dilusion so we believe a lie and will be damned!! 2 Thessalonian 2 It looks like that we're living now in a time with so much confusion, because we didn't believe the simple truth and prefer to believe a lie, look around you and weep.....But.the Lord also didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of Love, Power and a sound mind, Let us first start to do the things Jesus told us to do! The Lord who start a good work in us and will perform it till the end One day we'll understand al the secrets of creation, not imaginations like so many people do, but the Loving truth!! For now, let's try to just love, simple like a little child, stay close to Jesus and when the time is there the Lord will open our spiritual eyes and ears to understand the mysteries!

Mark Turay, I totally agree with you!

Comment*God used his greatness in Genesis 1
  • God's Girl on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
Hey, Peter best, you are right about living in God's word as much as possible. It is what we are supposed to do. Also, I could not help but ask, what kind of stories do you like?
  • Peter best on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
I love your comments and usually I make a comment and then check all comments after previous comments are 3 pages or so back and it seems that there is a lot to this and a lot of questions etc. but don't ever stress over it as we can take all things by faith alone and still live in the image of God as much as possible and as much as we know according to Jesus and what He taught I think.?? ??
  • God's Girl on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
When I think about how Adam and Eve were the first humans, I think that it is cool that we are some what all related to one another. Also, I can't believe how much God make for us!
  • Athenkosi saint on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
verse1,In the beggining God created heaven and earth.now, when God creates any thing under HIS fermament HE creates it perfectly.Verse 2,The earth was without form and void. The question is,What made the earth formless?and when did the old snake lusifa thrown down on earth?Betwen Verse1and2 it is were the Angel of war that was being asigned by God to wrestles with lusifa.we call that lusifiric era.
  • Nicole Pierson on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
There are 2 distinct creation stories given in Genesis the first creation is that of sovereign man who is given complete authority over the earth and all inhabitants no rules no death, the second is creation by Lord God meaning someone other than the original creator of the planet, which is why this man n woman are created to tend to his garden and suffer punishment for breaking the rules given
  • Bible Reader on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
Adam and Eve were the first humans to walk this earth . The first couple chapters in Genesis discuss creation, the fall of man eating the forbidden fruit, etc.
  • T Thebe on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
The earth was dark, void and empty of life, therefore it concludes that there was no life before adam and eve.
  • Karl on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
to Jim, were there humans/proto-humans before Adam and Eve? I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who wonders at what it says in Genesis. I'll get in trouble for saying this, but my opinion is that the garden was created literally as a garden in which the LORD 'seeded' Adam and Eve, human but uniquely imbued with his holy spirit, and you know the rest, cast out among temporal humankind, any help?

Verse 14 God saw evry thing ws good, this means im peculiar,so wonderfuly made in the eyes of God.
  • Elizabeth on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
Am thankful and grateful to God for Genesis 1:26-28,we are given full authority to rule and subdue the earth and whats in it so its for us to believe and use this authority to rule ourselves daily here on earth. Gen 1;28 to my understanding by the help of the holy spirit we ought to portray the nature and character of God to others in our daily life putting in mind that we are of his own likeness.
  • Jim on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
in Genesis 1:28 the statement, be fruitful and multiply and replenish the Earth, were there people on the earth before Adam and Eve or something else?
  • Connie on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
I believe that God made man and woman to do just what He said to rule the earth, multiply in numbers and so forth. Then he made the Garden of Eden and Adam and Eve. Those were his chosen if you will... like the Isrealites are his chosen even though He loves us all. My reason for believing this further is because after Cain kills Able and is sent out away from God and all he knows his fear of being
  • Karl on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
to wahyu - yeah, those passages are one of those ponderables in scripture, perhaps it was meant to do just what it does, give you pause for thought. Reading scripture, you will often be faced with the choice - taking it on faith, or wandering down a goat path away from the truth. Walking in faith at such a crossroad can only strengthen your faith as you walk in the true path. --- any help?
  • Wahyu on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
See the different between Gen 2:7 vs Gen 1:26-28 ? God have different way and purpose in creating a Man. Created vs formed from dust, dominion overall earth vs garden keeper, male and female vs male only, without God's breath vs with God's breath (living soul), be fruitful and multiply vs no multiplication command.
I'd say Adam was not the 1st human on earth. What say you?
  • Karl on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
to Lynda - man is made of the dust, we are made in GOD's image - what are we?
Our soul, a divine spark in his image, within a temporal body, we have the choice to embrace the temporal shell or the creator/father, one to corruption and spiritual death, the other to the one who gave that soul life --- any help?
  • Word on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
The flood was 150 days and that was 5 months the water was on earth.
  • Word on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
Little deeper thought. Check was out 1961 strong's concordance and Gen. 1 vs 2 reads the earth became without form and void.
  • Sylvia on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
According to Warren Wiersbe Bible Commentary, One year and ten days later God open the door and invited Noah and his family to come out to live on freshly cleansed earth. ( Genesis 8:16)

God's thoughts are not our thoughts and his ways are not our ways.
  • Caroline Pagtalunan on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
In Genesis, when 7:11 - 8:6, I would like to know about what calendar they were using to approximate the month and year of the flood. How long was the flood on the earth 7 months?
  • Mark Massey on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
what I see anf feel after prayer about the book of genesis is that Energee was the first thing in the universe positive and negative forces in the Lord saw fit to use this theme because it gave us the light! ....and the skins of animals are our flesh. Because until then we couldn't die.
Also.Moses related to us in metaphors because they are easy to remember, he said "No man has seen God face...."
  • Lynda Olsen on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
Being that the father, son and the holy spirit are one and God made man in his own image, leads us to believe we are all ONE together. Pure Loveis God so what are we?
  • Sisi on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
God created what on the 5th day?

    Man
Fowl, whales, and sea creatures - ANWER
    Beasts, cattle, and land creatures

    Genesis 1-24

And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so

  • Isabel Ramos on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
To me Genesis says that God created the whole entire world everything that is in this world is God it doesn't belong to nobody because they didn't create it the lord made this and he made us too and he made us all different
  • Mark verrell on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
it is by far one of the most interesting books of the BIBLE (they all have their interests and points to bring to light) but Genesis is magnificent, enthralling much here to ponder and glory in and rejoice in as well. it is a gateway to many many many areas of education sciences this book is inspiration and I am sure it has been a real money maker for believer and non believer.GOD IS GOOD
  • Roxie Harrison on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
In the beginning was the word, the word is God, in him there no darkness, he is the light, his word is lamp unto our feet, path to light, we must live in truth. Creator of Heaven at Earth. The Holy Spirit lives in Us. The only way is through his son JESUS!
  • Billy Thomas on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
It tells me that Jesus has been since the beginning along with the Holy Ghost.

God the Father God the Son (Jesus Christ) and God the Holy Spirit. These 3 are one. (trinity)
God in 3 persons. An orange consists of peeling, edible flesh and seeds yet it is still called an orange. Read John Ch. 1 and 1st John ch. 1. Jesus Created all things. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”
    John 1:3 (KJV)
