Thanks for sharing such a great article and enlightening us on this crucial topic. The end time is upon us and the second coming of our Lord "Jesus Christ" is coming. Still, many people don't believe it even after seeing situations like Coronavirus all around the world. I suggest you guys read a book on bible prophecies about end-time if you don't want to read the Holy Bible. I personally start with the book "Nation at a Crossroad" and that gives me the motivation to read the Holy Bible and understand God Almighty. So, you can prepare for that time. Thanks again. I love reading your article.

what is the Bible of + about?

Is it Godly that sin crawled, came into the world?

Where were we before we were created?
  • S
The first sin was disobedience. Genesis chapter 2 God told man what he can do and what he can not do and the consequences. Genesis 3 man disobeys God.

I need Jesus in my life.. Plases help with the word of God thank you
  • What is Jesus will for his Father. And what is our will here on earth?
  • Mishael for verse 1
GWEN: Father, Son, Holy Spirit are the LET US, that are speaking. Jesus said I and My Father are one and the same. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of Jesus.

When Adam was spirit, soul, body until he and Eve used their FREE WILL to eat the forbidden fruit because Satan said it would be ok. They lost their spirit connection for fruit!! Satan sure uses food to tempt people.

The only way we can be connected to God spiritually is to be Born Again.

These days we are living in are about the great falling away (from God). The apostasy.

Get a modest sized concordance with dictionary that will help you study a subject. I've actually found perfectly good condition KJV version Bibles at Goodwill stores.
  • Jesse for verse 1
    Gwen,

Jesus said in John 6:40, "And this is the will of Him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Everybody that the Father draws to Christ will come. And everybody that comes to the Son and receives Him, Jesus will not lose a single one.

2 Peter 3:9 says that the Lord is not willing that any should perish.

For those who receive Christ, what He expects from us is faithfulness. We are to humble ourselves before Him, submit to His will in our lives, and be transformed by the renewing of our minds. Jesus gave us the command deny ourselves, take up our cross daily, and follow Him. (James 4:7-10, Romans 12:2, Matthew 16:24). Submitting ourselves to God's transformation process, and allowing Him to renew our minds through a continuous study of His word, is the acceptable, and perfect will of God for us. (Romans 12:2).

  • Veronica Malisero for verse 1
God created the world in just 6 days n on the 7th day he blessed it and said let all creatures on earth glorify me (God),he then created Adam in his image with eve along side .my question is God knew that the serpent was clever to deceive eve to have the fruit, then why did God himself punished Adam & eve after eating the fruit for the two were just innocent n blind of what was happening?why didn't he punish the serpent only?
  • Jon
God had made Adam and Eve with perfect consciousness and free will. God commanded them not to eat the fruit of the tree and when they eat, they shall surely die. But eating the fruit of the tree is purely Eve's and Adam's choice.

Even though Satan lied and deceived them, they have a choice to make and they knew the God how powerful and Holy he is. They didn't recall the commandment given by God but they went after their own will.

That's the reason God have punished Adam and Eve too.
  • Sheldon
The way you worded that is different than most people I know have but if you think about it the fruit was there, god had it dangling right before their eyes, he must have been testing them to see if they are trustworthy people, but you said that he told them they will die if they eat the fruit and they did? In that case, they must have wanted to die, if they had a perfect life why would they wan't to die, see a piece is missing I believe Adum and Eve were not happy at all.
  • Chris
Sheldon, you are partly correct. God did 'dangle' the fruit before them, and they were made in God's Image & so had the ability to choose. But they didn't want to die - it was just their own decision that the Serpent's advice & logic seemed better than God's warning; after all, it was only a piece of delicious looking fruit! I believe that perfect & sinless lives (e.g. Adam/Eve & Jesus Christ) can still have temptations come to them. Our first parents chose wrongly & sin entered into humanity, but the last Adam threw back at Satan, God's Word. Should not Adam/Eve have likewise done: "God has said that we WILL surely die, so depart from us you wicked one". Sadly, they gave into the lust of the flesh & eyes (1 John 2:16). And I believe that they were very happy people enjoying God's Presence & the beauty of creation. After their Fall, they became extremely sad, fearful & spiritually destitute. I hope this helps.
  • Peter
I don't know if He dangled the fruit or if the sin is Adam or Adam and eve; but God is the head of man and man the woman, and the man needs the woman as it is not right to live alone; she was made for him, and we must treat her right; which we have often failed to do; but i do know that God had a purpose; and He made man for that purpose, I would say; and it went, I say, as it should have to fulfill that purpose; and I would say, that maybe, it is being fulfilled today and every day as we make our decisions on scripture. It is your decision just as it is mine; and the other thing that i am sure of, is that I love the comments. Great stuff

  • Chris for verse 1
Our God is an Omniscient God, i.e. He knows all things. He knew that Adam & Eve would sin & that this sin would be passed throughout all humanity. He knew that it wouldn't be by the giving of the Law through Moses, that the sin issue would be dealt with (the law was only a schoolmaster (Galatians 3:24,25)) to show Israel & us that we are not able to get right with God by obeying His Laws, simply because we just can't do it. God knew that one day, He would have to send of Himself (His Word, His Son: John 1:1-12) so that the full & only price could be paid for sin, so that man may only just believe in His Sacrifice to be saved & not anything else (Ephesians 2:1-10). So, if God knew all this from the beginning till now, why were Adam & Eve punished, since it was already known by God? It then is a question of obedience. They were not created robotic. God did tell them to not eat of the fruit of that particular tree (Genesis 2:16,17). They had a choice to obey their Creator or not. They chose wrongly!
  • Glenn for verse 1
True they were not robotic. Some people believe God put the tree there so they would be free. Free to make a choice. Sadly they were deceived and did not believe that death would be the real end result of a bad decision.
  • Glenn Brooks
Veronica. There was a rebellion in Heaven. You know the story I assume. Now there was disobedience on Earth caused by the spirit of Satan. God must destroy this Spirit , however if he had did this in the Garden of Eden , the other two thirds of loyal Angels would always have room to suspect that Satan the great accuser was right. Now this planet as become a Theator to the loyal Angels and other unfallen world's.. Sin must run it's course. God will bring a end to all of this. The war started only 6000 years ago. That is only like 6 days to our God. There is a Bible text that Is written in the New Testimont that supports our world being watched by Angels and other unfallen world's.
  • Chris for verse 27
I've read the KJV from childhood, so am tickled to read how someone could find Genesis 1:27 confusing. And I suppose it is, if you are not accustomed to the older style of English. What the verse is saying in modern English is: "So God created man in His Own Image, in God's Image man was created; both male & female were created by God". There is no indication of man & woman making a 'god of this world'. The god of this world is Satan who was banished from God's Presence because sin was found in him (Ezekiel 28:14,15: the king of Tyrus was a type). And this god of the world has full sway on the lives of those (the progeny of Adam & Eve) who disobey the God of Heaven.
  • Sonia Griffiths
    Hi there!

I agree with you! Thanks for your comment!

I was actually looking for books & verses referring to the Rapture.

    Kind regards,

    Sonia.
  • Glenn Brooks
Go to amazingfacts.org and look at their on line library. Found under Bible studies link. There you will find a book discussing the secret Rapture. This will give you lots of scripture. You be the judge of the book if it is truthful (God,s Truth) or the other side of the secret Rapture doctrine is correct.
  • Chris
Sonia, I can't find your original post now; the way the thread system works in KJB online, is peculiar. I think Mishael has sent you a reply to the Rapture, so will leave off for now. Apologies, if Genesis 1:27 was not your subject. Blessings.
  • Mishael
Sonia: if you will type in 'caught up' in the search box when this website opens you will see verses concerning (the rapture). Read the chapters where they are found.

Another way the Bible refers to the event is: as a thief in the night. Also, "the Day of the Lord". 2 Peter chapter 3;12 I think says it best; that we are to be LOOKING for the Lord. There's a lot of scripture about the Rapture. I look for Him every day :)
  • James for verse 27
    I have a question.

"... male and female created..." "...he them."

So if he/them is actually a dynamic, or dichotomy,(the age old us vs them battle) ,instead of the face value, simple translation I have always interpreted as ancient people talking funny and putting words in the wrong place.

so god made man, then made woman and when male and female communed they made god in the world instead of just above"

I'm trying to unlearn and relearn. Anyone have any ideas
  • Peter for verse 27
I don't understand your question. God made man and then made woman; and of course it may say it a little different as the Bible was written a long time ago; but I can't understand how you say that the they commuted and made God??? God is the head of man' and man is the head of woman; however, be careful how you treat that woman as no where does it say you boss her or order her etc. She was made for man as it is not good for man to live alone; and you have to treat her good; as if it comes from God; it is good; and so; Don't misinterpret as some men do. Treat her right. I may have misunderstood your question but it seemed to be referring to something like that. Sorry if it is not what you were referring to. Have a great and wonderful day.
  • James Davis for verse 27
Thank you very much for that. You helped me understand. I'm grateful you read that craziness and helped to bring just a little clarity into my life. Thank you.
  • Peter for verse 27
    I appreciate your reply. You make me feel good. Thank you;
  • John
Well, there is no evolution to begin with, so...
  • Kim Woods for verse 1
Was God at any time worried or embarrassed of any of his creation thinking man wouldn't like it?
