Its a 24 hr. day, its also verified twice more in exodus, be careful, the evolutionists will take scripture out of context to make you believe the earth is billions of years old, when God said a day is as a thousand days to Him he was simply saying that he (God) is outside of time, its not 2021 in Heaven!

To be born in the flesh (even to come into this world,) is to die once. Christ's coming to this world, which is hell, IS the love of GOD: even Christ himself laying down his life for you. For the graves are not many pits dug in the ground by many, and for many: but the graves are many terrestrial bodies of flesh, walking now on the earth this very day, yea, carnal men who are merely human, roaring as the proud lion. To be human is to walk after the flesh, having not the Spirit of Christ, for they confess not his coming. Nonetheless, IT IS UNRIGHTEOUS TO DIE A BODILY DEATH. For the flesh itself IS DEAD. So you MUST be BORN AGAIN, even changed by the Spirit of Christ, given by GOD, of the very Christ, who IS come in the flesh, preaching the truth: that your souls might be saved from the eternally damned. Reject this hypocracy of the scribes and Pharisees: for you can NOT have the Spirit of Christ unless Christ himself is come! Let them deceive you no further: but turn from the dead and turn to the living with a pure heart! IT IS written in the Holy Scriptures: For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: and, Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Hello, the Bible is 100% clear there is only one God. There are not many Gods. There are false gods, but they aren't real. There is only one real God. If you believe the Bible, it says this many times througout.

1 John 5:7 - this clearly says the father, son (Word), and spirit are one.

    James 2:19

    Isaiah 44:6

    1 Timothy 2:5

So, if the 3 parts are one, and if there's only one God, then the 3 parts are not separate Gods, but part of the same one God. Just like the skin of an apple is an apple, and the core is an apple, and the seeds are an apple, it doesn't mean it's 3 apples, but the same one, just different functions.

    Hi Rodney,

I believe it's 24 hr period as we know a day to be.

Genesis 1:5 (KJV) And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

    KRISTINA,

All that Richard has pointed out is true since The Scriptures are true.

However, I'd like to refine is issue. God is a triune being that Christians refer to a The Trinity: God The Father, God The Son, Jesus and God The Holy Spirit. Each of them is a distinct Person in ONE Being.

"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is ONE LORD:"Deu 6:4

Each of them is fully God.

We however are creatures of God's creation. People who have put their trust in Jesus' saving grace through His death, burial and resurrection, are made to be sons of God, but not in the same way as Jesus is God's Only Begotten Son.

    Paul puts it this way:

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will," Eph 1:3-5

We are adopted sons, with a full inheritance:

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you," 1Pe 1:3-4

    Hope this helps.

    Hello Kristina,

In my experiences and perception, along with Scripture, you are correct. As of coarse He is our Lord and Eternal King. What started from a very personal experience with the Lord I was led to this answer in the Bible about Jesus being our brother. As when we are born again of the Spirit we are also children of God and joint-heirs with Christ. Romans 8:15-17. Some Scriptures about Jesus being our brother. These are for you:

    Matthew 12:50

    Romans 8:29

    John 6:38

    John 20:17

    ( 1 Corinthians 9:5

    Hebrews 2:11

    Hebrews 2:17

I hope that helps. God Bless.

We were already dead, and the Bible says, Ephesians 2:1 "And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins:" Once you believe the Gospel for the Gentiles, God quickens you.

Hebrews 9:27 is simply a short statement about the progression of a life from birth to death. All of us, having no control over our aging process which leads to our last breath, will face death as a normal course of human existence.

But in the Rapture of the Saints, those that are alive to be a part of it, will not die - will never taste of death, but be ushered with glorified bodies into the presence of Christ. And those of God's children who have died prior to the Rapture, will be raised from the dead first, that their glorified bodies would unite with their souls & together will be with the Lord forever. This was the comforting message to the Thessalonian believers who were despairing that those who had already died would miss out from being with Christ in their new bodies. Even though we cannot envisage such a spectacular event, how the dead are raised from almost no visible evidence to us, or indeed, how we are raised into the sky to be with the Lord, yet the Bible states this event & that we should live in such manner of expectancy & holy living.

The Bible says it is appointed for man to die once, what about the people that go in the Rapture. When will they die?

  • S Spencer The right hand of God - In Reply on Genesis 1 - 3 years ago
    Hi Paul,

I think it's misleading when we think of God as having a presence like us. In those verses you place Jesus sitting beside God and there you have the son sitting beside the Father. But I don't think that's what those verses is saying. Here's an example.

Psalms 16:8.I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

Now do you vision God sitting down beside David ? are is David referring to him as the power in which he shall not be moved?

Here's another example of him being the power.

Luke 22:69. Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.

The right hand/power is an attribute in which he performs within the God head. Here's some examples.

Exodus 15:6. Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.

Isaiah 41:10. Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Romans 8:34. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Isaiah 48:13. Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.

This is just a few of many verses in which you see

He makes intercession from his right hand.

He makes us righteousness from his right hand.

His power is his right hand.

He judges from the right hand.

And as Isaiah 48:13 says along with the volume of the book

He created the world with his right hand.

So those verses proves He's God!! That why in Revelation 1:8 he's called the Almighty!!

Revelation 1:8 (KJV) I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
