In the beginning the heaven and earth were of everlasting. There is no time in this heaven and earth.. You are correct in that this world became void wit out form. Isaiah 45. Proverbs 22 tells us that Wisdom was possessed by the Lord in the beginning in the beginning before the works of old. (Time and things growing old are the works of old entropy ) She (wisdom) was set up from everlasting fro

Ephesians 1 speaks of Saint or the set aside ones or the elect that have be chosen from before the foundation of the world. Before, same as God knew Jeremiah before he was in his mothers womb like Jacob and Esau God had to know them, walked with them to be able to say Jacob I loved, Esau I hated. If you go to John 1 where it say born again it's 509 born from above. We where with God an sent here.

Have you read Isaiah 45:18 how God in the beginning created the earth beautiful. He created with wisdom in Proverbs 8:22 - 30 also in Genesis 1:2 check out the word "was" and it's became without form and if you read Jeremiah 4:22 you will read of a great flood with no Noah and family and in 27 earth was desolate but not to a full end. 2 Peter 3:5 - 7 speaks of the earth age before.

The heavenly angels were already in existence and most importantly Jesus and The Holy Spirit! There is but one God! No matter His name ,He is three but yet one and the same. What great power!!

Blessed:Sylvia: I don't see in her post that she said anything about three gods. Most know there's only one God. God:Elohiym is the name of God, it is plural, pronounced El-o-heem. What she said is pretty much right. God said let Us make man in Our image after Our likeness.Genesis 1:26. God all through the Scriptures is plural.
  • Blessed
Sylvia- bible only speaks of 1 God not 3 Gods.
Isaiah45:22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. God the Father became flesh.1 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

  • Hebrews 8
And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:21Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.22For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things( Acts 3)

This ONE true GOD exists as three persons: GOD the FATHER (Acts 4:4); GOD the SON (John 1-1:3); GOD the HOLY SPIRIT (Psalms 104:30)
God exists in three persons who are equal in their attributes and yet individual and distinct in their offices and ministries. Matthew 3:16-17; Ephesians 1:3-14; 2Thess 2:13-14; Titus 3:4-6

Irene123 mentioned, "nowhere do i see Jesus responding to anything.." Remember: not only Jesus was the WORD Who was with God but He was God according to St John 1:1.,,bblessed

Genesis Chapter 1 and 2 are not 2 separate creation accounts. Genesis 1 is a summary and 2 goes into greater detail.
  • Irene123
Some read Genesis 1:2 as - there was a 'first' earth - and it was destroyed, then God created a 2nd earth on which we live. No one 'knows' if God created more than one earth. Maybe He did, BUT - the Bible does NOT say such - so we should not speculate, as such speculation has NOTHING to do with OUR salvation.
  • Irene123
MLH - You're missing an awful lot of love 'n beauty. Yes. God created this world, the whole of the universe, by His spoken word. But, when it came to His 'pinnacle' creation - He got His 'hands' into the dust and lovingly created man - because He loved man; man was to be a friend to God, they were to commune together, have fellowship. I'm praying for you to see the bigger picture - of His love for

We have been taught that GOD "spoke" everything into existence. The Scriptures do not support this. Genesis teaches that HE "created", "moved", "said", "saw" "divided", called:, "made", "set"

Hello the way I understand it is in the scripture in the beginning was the word the Word was God the word was with God' and in the Book of John he points out that Jesus is the word so the Lord Jesus what's with the father from the beginning
  • Irene123
    B. Matute - Hi, Brian; hope this finds you well. Since Jesus was with God, separately, yet one with Him - why doesn't God's word record any 'conversation' between father 'n son about creation of man ..... ? Surely Jesus said at least 'yes' or 'no' ..... ? As equals He would have had some input ..... ? Nowhere do I see 'Jesus' responding to - anything ..... ?
  • Irene123
"In the beginning - God ..... "; Before God instituted day and night - there was no 'time'; no 'million yrs.' before He created anything; there was NO time.
  • Bruce
Jean: in the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. It says nothing about time, when did time start? A Million years could have passed before the clock started. It's not really that important only where you spend eternity. Adding to His Word is very dangerous and habit-forming.Do not add or take away:Revelation22:18-19 / Revelation 1:5 / Revelation20:15.

Brian Read on 2 Peter 3 the world that was perished but we know from the destruction in Jeremiah 4 that it was not to a full end and if you check scriptures out you'll see it, the first earth age turn to wilderness. Those people the God was speaking to were,US.
  • Brian Matute
READ THE BIBLE, I just want to say that Jesus did not came out of God. He (Jesus) was always there with God. Genesis 1:26- And God said, Let us make man in OUR image... Who is God talking to. Not the angels because if that was so we would have wings. God is talking to the Son and the spirit. Yes the holy spirit was always there too. The spirit was not created either. It was always there.

Read the Book. Isaiah 45:18, earth form beautiful beginning Proverbs 8:22 to 31wisdom with God creation of earth. Job 38:7 at the foundation the sons of God and His stars/children. Verse saying every soul God had created rejoicing at our beautiful home earth. With a Father our God that has been around for billions of eternal years which the scriptures say we lived with how can you not believe it.

In the beginning was The Word--- And The Word was made Flesh, and dwelt among us---John 1:1-14/ ---and washed us from our sins in His own Blood---Revelation 1:5 / No man can come to me, except The Father which hath sent me draw him:---John 6:44 / you will be Baptized with The Holy Ghost and Fire:---Matthew 3:11 / you will be made new! 2Corinthians 5:17 / --few there be that find it-- Matthew 7:14

All things were created by the word of God as he spoke it.

Genesis 1:1. In the beginning God (there's no beginning/ending to God.) So in the beginning of "Time"God created the heaven
  • Stephen
Ubakuni Clement: Indeed! What a blessing it is to have God's Word when so many thirst for it.
  • READ THE BIBLE
God The Farther, God The Son, God The Holy Ghost, are One and the One Is God The Farther.
Our Lord Jesus was not created, He came out-of God The Farther.
  • Ubakuni Clement
It is good to have a Bible

Jesus Christ is not merely an emanation from God, as the Gnostics taught, nor is He merely an image of God in the sense that other humans are. Rather all the fullness of the Diety(Godhead) dwells in Him. The purpose of the incarnation is the Atonement. God came in flesh to reconcile His fallen creation back to Himself. God has reconciled all things to Himself through Jesus Christ. Jesus is that 7!
