    Brother Richard in Christ:

You shouldn't take it so hard when others let you down. It appears as though God hadn't yet provided brother John with the Biblical wherewithal to satisfy your desire for honest and equal reciprocation. Lord knows it's unpleasant to be a victim of intellectual malpractice, but treat it like water falling off a ducks back.

You'll have more days ahead to get your message across.

    Peace unto you bother Earl,

I have a hard time conceptualizing what you are saying about the end time battles. You seem sure of what you're saying, so kindly talk it back for me like you were describing the onset of WWII, or describing a football game with 4 quarters. Tell me in plain words about these battles. I do surmise that all the armies of the earth will be defeated at Christ's return.

It's complex and confusing, but I like learning about the Lord.

    Bod bless

    Sacha,

Are you sure Psalm 8 isn't about God? Even though verse 4 directly says 'son of man', all the credit goes to God. Without God's love, Jesus would have lost favor to his brother, Jose.

I'm just kidding you. I'm in the Jesus is God club.

I get up before the birds, so the trees lift their branches to worship God, as soon as the first rays of the dawn break through, the nature breaks out in its own praise and worship service.

It's the best time to pray :D

    Rawlie,

Matthew Chapter 24 gives a pretty detailed explanation of Daniel's 70th week.

    Seven Points about Prophecy:

    1) All prophecies concerning the last days are based upon Daniel 9:24-27, which presents the 70th week of Daniel.

    2) The 70th Week of Daniel is divided into four sections:

    1) Pains of birth: first 3 years of the Tribulation.

    2) Pivotal point: the mid-point of the Tribulation.

    3) Perils of tribulation: the last 3 years of the Great Tribulation.

    4) Promise of his coming: the Second Coming of Christ.

    3) Matthew

    Pains of birth: Matthew:24:4-14

    Pivotal point: Verse 15

    Perils of tribulation: Verses 16-28

Promise of his coming: Verses 29-31

    4) End time prophecies are centered on the Jewish People.

    5) Matthew took his outline of the 70th week of Daniel from Mark Chapter 13, and they both recorded the Olivet discourse.

    6) The misunderstanding of the prophecies of the last days is based upon combining Luke's account with Matthew's and Mark's account as if they are the same message.

    7) Luke's version includes some of the same information only given at a different time, and covers different stages of the 70th week of Daniel.

    1. In Luke 21:5-6, Jesus was still in the Temple area

    2. Luke 21:7 records different questions. When will these things be? What sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?

    3. Luke covers the first part of the pains of birth in Luke 21:8-11

Luke 21:12 "before all of these things"

Luke 21:25-28 the promise of his coming

I have an awesome chart but this website will not allow me to share it. If there is a way, I don't know how.

    Donna,

That is correct. It is not necessary that a believer attend a church to get into heaven. A person gets to enter into heaven by being born of God's Spirit, not by how often they attend church or if they ever attended.

I'm not saying that church is not important. To me, church is like a spiritual hospital. A believer attends church to be fed spiritually and to fellowship together with other believers.

There is a verse in the book of Hebrews, Hebrews 10:25 that says " Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together."

This is spoken, not to people who have stopped coming to fellowship or don't go to church. It is speaking to people who are continuing to fellowship.

    He is saying don't leave off from assembling ourselves together, as the manner of some is;

You see, some have already dropped out. It is the encouragement for those who are coming, and who are fellowshipping. It's for those who are still coming, who waiver, and every once in a while have doubts and are weak at times and feel like dropping out.

Well, we are to consider one another. Be perceptive about provoking one another to do things that are right in the eyes of the Lord.

And when you sense someone possibly wanting to drop out, it says but exhort one another, encourage:

Without getting too technical, in the Greek text, what that says is that by assembling yourselves together, you are encouraging.

Being faithful to do what the Lord wants you to do, without saying anything, is a ministry of encouragement.

Church fellowship is important, but not required to get to heaven. Jesus commanded us as believers to follow Him. If He is putting it on our heart to go to church, then we go.

    Jesse,

Revelation 16:16 Armageddon is a gathering place for Gog's feuding army. When Gog sees Jesus in Jerusalem, they will come down to the valley of Kidron (valley of Jehoshaphat) where the Lord slays them. The blood will be up to the horses bridle.

Matthew 10:33 - But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Currently there are anti-Christs denying the divinity of Jesus Christ and they can't handle it when they are exposed. Christians should lovingly share the gospel to the lost, including people who assume they're Christians, but aren't. There are so-called Christians who don't believe in Christ attempting to deceive others into believing Christ is just a man and not divine, despite what the Bible says. It seems no amount of sharing the truth from the scripture will change someone's mind, but you can still pray for their soul and for their hearts to become unhard and listen to the truth. Christians should have the full armor of God on and sometimes the truth needs to be spoken directly to penetrate through the lies and deceipt of the anti-Christs. These people denounce Jesus, denounce the trinity, denounce scripture, and reject much of the foundations of Christianity from God's Word. Those who have never encountered the anti-Christs, good for you, but be on your guard, because some lurk even on this website and are probably reading this right now and feeling convicted and a guilty conscience from the Holy Spirit. Speaking the truth from the Bible is probably like heaping hot coals on their heads, Romans 12:20.

Jesus is Lord and God, because the Bible says He is. Your feelings and false assumptions cannot prove otherwise. Have a great day!

My husband has been told that it isn't necessary to attend church as a christian. He said, he believes and is a christian and that's enough to get in to heaven. Is there scripture that pertains to our attendance in the church and what is required of us as christians?

  • Sacha - In Reply on Genesis 1:1 - 2 years ago
Elohim (rendered God ) plural form of Eloah ,Deity in multitudinous manifestation ,the word although pkural ,is often used with a singular verb ,indicating that although the Elohim may constitute a multitude ONE ETERNAL SPIRIT motivates them all ,thus revealing Deity in manifestation-e.g. psalm95v7 "He (Yahweh) is our Elohim (Mighty Ones) ," the angels were the "ministers of Yahweh" excelling in His strength psalm 103v20-22 ,"For Yahweh is a great El and a great King above all Elohim " psalm95v3 , Elohim comes from a word Alah ,to swear ,to bind oneself by an oath ,so ,although a multitude that no one can number ,the Elohim act as a single unit ,they are united together with each other and with Yahweh with ties that are indivisible .The word is translated as angels in psalm 8v5 and as judges in Exodus ch21v6 and ch22v8&9 and v28 ,the latter revealed Yahwehs law and judgements to the nation ,John ch10 v34-36

You are correct ,its really very simple ,get to know God and Jesus ,how do we get to know anyone ? By spending time with them ,even better if its just you and them , get to know God and Jesus really well by reading the Bible ,ALL of it ,again and again ,just like us the more time you spend listening to Them the more you get to know them ,when you feel you really truely know Jesus that famous cliche "what would Jesus do ? ' doesnt sound so dumb because you know him and straight away you know the answer ! Stop reading me and go and read your Bible !

    Dear Brother Sebastian,

I pray that you are blessed on this Saturday/Sabbath Day!

We read and pray for understanding.

    John 16:10-16

10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; 11Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. 12I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. 13Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. 15All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. 16A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.

  • Commandments on Genesis 1:1 - 2 years ago
    MATTHEW 22

36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? ( Exodus 20)

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40 On these two commandments hang ALL THE LAW and the PROPHETS.

  • The Godhead Scriptures on Genesis 1:1 - 2 years ago
The Scriptures about the Godhead. Sometimes called "Let Us..." in some passages. These scriptures are evidence of all 3 persons of the Godhead speaking to each other.

    Genesis 1:26, 3:22, 11:7

    Isaiah 6:8

    Romans 1:20

    Colossians 2:9

    Acts 17:27-30

    1 John 5:7

    John 10:30

"For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and GODHEAD so that they are without excuse:"

You CANNOT cancel out these scriptures with Exodus 20:3

Nor the New Commandments that Jesus delivered to us.

    Genesis 1:1

    The Father purposes

The Word (Jesus) speaks. ( John 1:1)

The Spirit (Holy Spirit) executes the spoken word. Action.

    John R Nolan,

The concept of "rapture" has no place in the Bible, it is a made up term to represent something that doesn't happen. Who do you think the 144K of the elect are, and why are they overtly and covertly placed into at least 7 chapters of Revelation? If the elects end-time future role was minimal, so would be their story line, and it's not.

Revelation 20:4-5 (right after they're taken up)

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

It is the 144K, and no one else, who are resurrected, and redeemed from the great tribulation (not OT saints), who refused the beast and his mark. These saints are the only souls chosen to usher in God's plan, everyone else will sleep till the 2nd resurrection. Listen to the details of each account logically, the answers are there.

    God bless.

Here is my summary of Genesis, chapter 1. Let me know if I made any mistakes.

"On the first day God created light, he called the light "day" and the darkness "night". On the second day, God created water and a firmament called "heaven". On the third day, God gathered the waters together and he created land, he called the dry land "Earth" and the waters "Sea". On the fourth day, God divided the day from the night by creating stars, he created seasons, days, and years. On the fifth day, God created sea creatures and birds. On the sixth day, God created land creatures and humans, he let the humans have dominion over the living things."

    Dear Chris,

You wrote "Some suppose that Russia is referred to here, in which case those nations around them & under her influence & power will come against Israel in that Great Day of God's Judgement."

That's a fair account, and true. From my perspective, it is down to team US vs Russia/China, the iron & clay team.

Putin has made it clear, to win he will throw the first punch, a surprise shock. Russia won't be held back anymore; they are a decade ahead of the US in military technology: Mach 27 hypersonic missiles in service....

The beast vs Babylon allegory is unfolding in broad daylight. I haven't counted the US govt as the good guys since WWII. I'm sorry if you are offended, not my intentions, but to make unbridled points of view for discussion.

Who else left fits the Bible's end-time descriptions other than these 2 sides? I know Jeremiah 50 & 51 describe the fall of pride. Also, something to factor in is Cyrus' army quietly entered Babylon's impregnable fortress through aqueducts and took Babylon without a fight. It appears that that's also how badly the beast defeats Babylon. 539 BC will come again for modern day Babylon and it will be a frightening scene being on the other end of it, the receiving end.

    Peace be with you always.

Oh, you make me smile. The Lord has been good to me, gave me a green thumb. Roots & branches. I started 3 strong business after college, in high demand. I was becoming Park Ave. I felt so embarrassed about my wealth in my 30's that I resolved to give money to charities, individuals, victims, at least 50% for 38 years. Having half of more than enough is still too much for me. It was like watching plants and flowers grow; with the gifted money came responsibility to God and community. I bought their lives on the right path. The inequality, competition is unfair and no way to live a full life. I wanted to build non-profit container homes for the homeless across the US at $20B start up. Cities would be cleaned up, pressure washed, and rebranded, but govt doesn't want it.

I'm long retired, but in the game, surfing spiritual houses. This website has a remarkable reference guide.

    Safe travel to you.
