Discussion for Genesis 19:5

  • Shakeem for verse 5
This seems like a form of gang rape. However it didn 't say that they wanted to have sexual relations with them it said they wanted to know them, but know them informally. Yet this still remains a mystery to us because we cant prove but give opinion since it was something wicked.
  • I am not so sure the indication is about homosexuality It would seem it is more about involuntary sexual participants
  • If all the people of Sodom and Gomorrah wanted was for Lot to reveal the identity of the strangers, he wouldn't have offered his virgin daughters instead of the strangers. They actually wanted to have sexual intercourse with the strangers. And they were destroyed because of their homosexuality.
