Tongues, speaking in a foreign language, is a sign to unbelievers, not believers.

To Bruce - I was baptized in Jesus' name in '73 and I speak in tongues. It's wonderful, isn't it.

Irene: The Bible is "The Word"of God. The Word is Jesus! The Bread of Life! The One "you" need "Faith" in for Salvation. Only by The Blood of The Lamb is there Salvation. His sacrificed paid it all! Call on Him while He is near! Tomorrow May be too late! Eternity's coming! He will change your life,you will speak with a new tongue. The world ( lost people) will not understand! "The Beginning"----?

There was a comment on the back pgs. of this chapter about the distinction between 'faith' and 'the faith', but it wasn't completely followed through. In the book of James he talks a lot about 'faith'; this is the faith we have, our belief in God and His Word - it's a verb. Jude speaks of 'the faith ' once delivered to the saints - this is a noun. 'The faith' is the word of God, the Bible.

For by grace are we saved through faith--. Ephesians 2:8/But without faith it is impossible to please him:--.Hebrews11:6/No light switch need that takes too long. "YOU" will know your a lost sinner,when The Father calls:John6:44, no special words needed,He sees your Heart. Just ask forgiveness: 1John 1:9./ You will be Baptized with the Holy Ghost and Fire: Matthew 3:11/ you will know:2Corinthians5:17

Many, many Christians fall into the trap from Pauls letters that being "saved" is easy as turning on a light switch, that all you need is faith to earn the favor if God, and what they do and think and feel in this world in inconsequential. In truth many preachers in our time fain righteousness while walking in sin.

Praise God we are not under the law anymore but under grace

I believe that this is amazing, especially since he was made a curse for us! This proves Gods everlasting love, and our freedom, from any curse, in the earth. Praise be to the lord God, and his holy son JESUS CHIRST! amen.

Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. BY JESUS BLOOD SHED FOR US. JESUS HAVE COME TO GIVE US LIFE IN ABUNDANCE. Our job now is to accept Jesus as the SON OF THE LIVING GOD HEAR AND OBEY THE WORDS OF GOD. WITHOUT OUR OBEDIENCE TO GOD'S WORDS it's impossible to please God. Praise The Lord Jesus who knows all and see all wonderful who would'nt serve a God like That I am sold out to Jesus for ever their No one or Nothing better Amen

The book of Galatians made it clear that the law can't save. The miracles performed among the Galatians were not by the observation of the law(3:5). Their reception of the gifts of the Holy Spirit were not by the observation of the law. Rejection of the blessed doctrine of salvation and justification by faith in Jesus Christ is throwing oneself into a deep darkness and bondage.

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.
If the Son sets us free we are Free indeed 😁 !

Paul clearly states here that the individual that lives in faith through the spirit of Christ has put to death the working of the law, and contrariwise faith is of no effect operating under the old law which is contrary to the spirit of the law of faith in and through Christ Jesus .

Thank you lord for moving us from the old to the new which is in Christ Jesus. Thank you for our new identity in Christ regardless of origin,colour or race. we are one in Christ.

Though we no longer live under the law the law was our school master (pattern) until the death burial and resurrection of Christ. Without the law men would have been totally reckless. Now we live by faith. There's no distinction between sex, heritage or background. We can all come boldly to Jesus Christ by faith. All who will let them come. Thank you Jesus though I'm unworthy you bid me to come.

I like it .I want to learn about Jesus but I have a hard time reading.

the lord is great,I love to read about him every day ,knowing that we all one in CHRIST is a lovely thought.

I believe Galatians 3:28. Gives us freedom to choose him without prejudice. It is also a no excuse clause !

Thank-you Lord for making salvation free for ALL regardless of where we come from or who we are.

God has no respect of person. We are his children., thank God for this, if mankind could just catch on to this verse, believe God at his word, all I could say would be "wow". Bless God

Jesus is the mediator between man and God. Jesus is the word of God and he who loves him will keep his commandments. Thru JESUS PRECIOUS BLOOD OUR CURSE, PAIN AND OUR SINS ARE TAKEN AWAY TO THE CROSS. HE PAID THE PRICE AND REDEEMED US SO THAT YOU AND ME WILL HAVE LIFE IN ABUNDANCE. We must THANKED, THINK AND TALK ABOUT HIS BLOOD . JESUS LOVES US THE ONLY JEHOVAH AMEN

I feel him in Me,because I'm alive,happy,have Joy.

Walk with me oh my Lord, through the darkest night and brightest day! Be at my side oh Lord, hold my hand and guide me on my way! Some times the road is long my energy is spent then Lord I think of you and I am given strength! Praise The Lord for granting us the Comfort of the Holy Spirit to dwell in us.

Paul is giving us an understanding that we aught to know we are of God born of him . Amen to that.

this who preachers teaches the true gospel but they turns thair ways

I need to pray for understanding when I read the bible. I don't think I absorbed the biggest part of what I read.
