Ya think that Mary cd have fallen away or lost her salvation ( the Child ) the Son of God,th living word of God no way.Jesus said to them that hath shall more be given, her Child grew more and more in statue with God and man and we are like MARY in that we must be born from above but the child we birth is spirit th h.g. our new innerman, christ in us.as we have borne the image of the earthy we must also bear ( birth ) the image of the Heavenly.thats y he always refers to himself as the SON OF MAN.mankind has to bring forth fruit unto God which is the H.G. THAT RESULTS FROM HIS SEED THE WORD TH LIVING WORD NOT THE WRITTEN WORD THAT GENDERS TO DEATH BUT THE LIVING WORD.MY WORDS ARE SPIRIT AND LIFE THAT genders to a baby Christ born in us.My lil children of whom i travail in birth til Christ is formed in you th ( son of man ) Thus we cannot fall away if we birth Christ in our hearts the child is th essence of God the child of PROMISE EMANUEL God with us.She brought forth a man child th H.G.

Jesus said even as Moses lifted up a serpent in the wilderness even so must the son of man be lifted up,Jesus is our bronze serpent spritually speaking,We are still in the wilderness, sometimes we get bit but if we behold the lamb of God our snake bite ( sin ) is not fatal aka as Grace etc. Behold the lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world John preached, John knew we wd get bit sometimes in this evil world but no condemnation to them in Christ Jesus. This bronze serpent was a metaphor, the 1 st sign of Grace to come in Christ Jesus. The law was given by Moses but grace and truth came by Christ Jesus.I.E. the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made us FREE from the Law of Sin and death SNAKE BITE AND DEATH in Moses time. Behold the lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world. The Church is like th Red Heifer we still have sin RED but when the baptism of fire comes we will burned to Ashes at the door of the tabernacle ( door of our hearts )Our God is a consuming fire gbu

Hi Paul: what I meant by what God did for us sinners what we could not forselves was an expression, meaning there is nothing you or can do to save ourselves , The Apostle Pauls says -we are saved by grace through faith and that not of ourselves it is the gift of God Not of wokrs lest any man should boast Eph 2:8-9 The Apostle Paul is our Apostle to the Gentiles. For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:

    2 Timothy 1:11

Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.

    1 Timothy 2:7

Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.

The Book of James is writing to the 12 tribes scrattered James 1:1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting. We are the 12 tribes of Isreal. Isreal was under the Law we gentiles were not. God bless

According to the apostle Paul in 2Peter 3:3-8, Galatians 3 is from the third day of Creation, when Jesus had come by water only. Until Christ came by the water and the blood, as He did today, the first and only fourth day of the Creation, sin was unforgiven; however, the "faith" referenced is not your: it belongs to Jesus Christ.

"For by Grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God. Not of works lest any man should boast". So we know from these verses that our Salvation is by Grace not works. It also cannot be by both Grace and works because Grace and works are opposites. As the apostle Paul tells us again, "And if by Grace then is it no more of works otherwise Grace is no more Grace. But if it be of works then is it no more Grace otherwise work is no more work." ( Romans 11:6) So unless your willing to call the apostle Paul a liar we have to conclude that our Salvation is only by grace, not by works. Jesus doesn't decide our Salvation, we do. We decide whether we want to believe in Jesus and confess Him as our Lord and Savior. It's a conscious decision we each need to make: Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God hath raised Him from the dead. You do not need baptism to be saved. That's all a part of the works trip religion.

Paul - Yes we can not be saved without baptism, however getting the body wet is not it.

Mark Chapter 1: 6 And John was clothed with camel's hair, ...

7 And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose.

8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he (Jesus) shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.

Acts 1:5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. (of the Spirit)

Matthew 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

Where in the Bible are we taught, God did for us what we could not do ourselves? How does grace come to us? By faith. Unless you believe James is a liar, Faith without works is dead. You can't have grace without faith. If you understood the full context of the Bible you will see we are saved by grace and works. I say again, unless you believe James is liar. But in the end, our salvation will be decided by He who took upon Him the sin of the world so whether we follow Him in good works unto grace, the Master will decide our salvation, not us. Therefore may not man boast in his own good works for God is Christ. And if you or I do any good works, it by His grace. You cannot be saved without baptism. I'll gladly point that out to you in the Bible.
  • Rod - In Reply on Galatians 3 - 4 years ago
Being saved by grace means God did for us (sinners) what we could not do for ourselves. He died for our sins, was buried & rose agian from the dead. That is the grace message. It's not of works lest any should boast.

Now unto abraham and his seed was the Promise made, but he says not unto seeds plural but unto 1 seed which is Christ thus its Christ that is gonna be Multiplied as the stars of heaven, thats y the sower wants to sow his precious seed in our hearts that it might initiate a birth of Christ in US n the Child is the H.G. AS THAT WHICH IS BORN OF THE SPIRIT IS SPIRIT.Ya gotta realize that the FATHER was so passionate about this great Promise that he swore by his very self. Thats y Jesus refers to the H.G as th PROMISE he is the multiplication of Christ/GOD ( SHE BROUGHT FORTH A MANCHILD THAT IS GONNA RULE ALL NATIONS WE ARE THE WOMAN TH CHILD IS TH H.G. NOTE: THE KINGDOM COMES WITH TH BIRTH OF THE MANCHILD which is soon Rev 12 v 10. Unless ya receive th kingdom as a lil Child you will in no wise enter there in.The lil child implies a heavenly birth via that good seed th Word these heavenly children are the Israel of God The Children of Promise,The new covenant is gonna get louder n louder.

Carol: when you are born again; Jesus took all that generational curses ( Deuteronomy 28) on himself. It's part of the first Covenant. We have a new and better covenant. Jesus as the lamb of God performed the 'walking through the blood' part of a new covenant'.

He shows us in Matthew 12 that it is not sinful to perform work to eat a meal or to stop off on your way to church to get your goat out of ditch.

We are no longer under the law. The law is a school master to teach us what it is/was.

Some may disagree with me but I think if you have to work weekends then you can attend church on a Wednesday. We are told not to forsake ASSEMBLING together. If you attend on a Wednesday, God knows where you are and you are available to encourage other believers.

People are not always agreeable with this thought. If I'm wrong I will apologize.

    Exodus 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

Deuteronomy 5:9 Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me,

Those mentioned DWL in the Scripture you shared and no doubt others today think their fleshy works will be good enough to pay their way into Heaven Its True we cant earn our Salvation but we will show we have it Love is not just a Word its an Action We see this Truth with those who were accepted and their Works approved of in Matthew25:31-46 They did good Works because Faith without Works is dead but these Works are those God has Prepared in Advance for us to do He Molds and Shapes us by giving us Opertunities to Walk in The Fruit of The Spirit which puts our Carnal Flesh to death Perfecting us in Love an Conforming us into the Image of Jesus We are than Born Again with Gods Seed 1John3:9.

As Confirmed Salvation is a Free Gift that we can't Earn or Loose if we do have it and we will show if we do or if we don't. The Holy Spirit will Empower us to be able to Work out our Salvation Romans8 but this does not mean we Work for it. What will Jesus say when He returns to those who chose to walk in the Spirit and to those who chose to walk in the flesh? Matt25:31-40. Christ-mas Blessings.

The jew believe in the law to make heaven but Paul is trying to make them understand what they are doing is self righteousness. Salvation is by faith through Jesus christ. Paul is trying to let the Jews understand that if you are a born again, you are all equal in the sight of God either Jews or Gentiles.
  • Alex on Galatians 3 - 4 years ago
That was the Original Promise the multiplication of Christ n humanity thats y he refers to the H.G as the PROMISE .Whosoever receiveth one such child in MY NAME receives me which is the result of the new birth via his seed etc.Being bornagain of an incorruptible seed etc.Smite the shepherd the sheep will be scattered then i will turn my hand to the LIL ONES which imply multiplication of his seed.
  • Adam - In Reply on Galatians 3 - 4 years ago
The Bible already covered this. The answer is no, you can't just do whatever evil you want assuming you're covered by grace and expect to get into heaven. Matthew 7:21, Romans 6:1, John 14:15. Even satan believes, so believing isn't enough. A Christian must follow Jesus which is an active role, not passive. Revelation 3:16. Satan has deceived people into believing they can sin all they want and don't have to be obedient or follow Jesus. The Bible refutes that.

So I am hearing the law and works mean nothing, so why not do what you want? Jesus said to the apostles go out and preach to the gentiles. AND THOSE WHO WILL RECEIVE YOU STAY. That is deeds doing the receiving. I can never figure out how someone like me can be Christ's. When in my life will I deserve him. OH yes, when I pick up my cross and follow him. Another law. I'm confused as the bible says.

As it is written, Who has bewitched you, that ye should NOT OBEY the truth? GOD now commands all men everywhere to repent: Repent ye and believe the Gospel. Fear GOD, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. They profess that they know GOD but in works they deny him being abominable and disobedient: For which things' sake the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.
  • Cindy on Galatians 3 - 4 years ago
Paul was simply warning the Galatians to not be pulled in by the Judaizers with their false works based salvation gospel. Because salvation is by Grace through Faith in Jesus Christ and nothing else. Obedience is not what saves us or keeps us saved it is the trust and reliance in what Jesus did for us on the cross. When we place our faith anywhere else we trample the blood of Christ under foot.

Romans 2 12 we will be judged accordingly. 1 without living by the law .2those living buy the law. it is interesting to note how the conscience works in all this. this is why he created us this way, Consequently how we live is how we will be judged. If however we are in Christ, we shall not see death! We will not see death, through the shed blood of Christ we will enter into eternal life immediately

the law was given to mankind as a way to measure his life weather he was in right standing with GOD. Then Jesus the son of GOD was born, lived to fulfill the old testaments, and died to give mankind the right to return home. THANK YOU JESUS

What is the difference between the righteous and those living under the law, and the 'works'?
  • Teri - In Reply on Galatians 3 - 4 years ago
Dear sister, i am new to this forum so you may already have the answer. it is a question of salvation vs. justification-both are by Faith. The promise God made to Abraham was by faith, and that's why he is the father of the faith. Justification is by faith also, based on the finished work of Christ. GBU

Verse 19~Jehovah God made his laws known through the hands of a mediator or by using his angelic messengers to transmit the law.
