  • Brother Daniel FC on Galatians 2
To a Disciple. Don’t get me wrong: I love Ap. Paul: I just disagree of how he treats Ap. Peter, who is equally dear to me. His attitude of a learned man, a Pharisee who studied at the feet of Gamaliel, towards a simple fisherman, strikes me as arrogance. I don’t think Jesus would agree with that. And that is not all… so, talk to me Disciple!
  • Brother Daniel FC on Galatians 2
To a Disciple. No, I am not hasty, and it doesn’t take special revelation to see where Ap. Paul comes from; whence his behavior. Read the whole letter to Galatians, and you will understand better. Accusing your fellow worker, who was trained by Jesus for 3.5 years, a faithful man, full of the Holy Spirit, of hypocrisy, and cursing the people who disagree with you; is hardly Christian behavior.
  • A disciple on Galatians 2
Daniel; You are too hasty in your speech and sadly lacking in understanding and respect for things much higher than you! Are you so likewise endowed with a calling and wisdom and knowledge by revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ? And are you likewise travelling through foreign Countries risking your life to preach the Glad Tidings under constant persecution, slander, and betrayals? Why scrutinize?
  • Brother Daniel FC on Galatians 2
In verse 8, Apostle Paul's modesty leaves much to be desired: - ... he that wrought wrought EFFECTUALLY in Peter - versus -the same was MIGHTY in me. - I guess Ap. Paul doesn't know about the Day of Pentecost nor about the thousands that accepted Christ as the result of Ap. Peter's preaching. See Acts Ch. 2. Three thousand people turned to Jesus: Now, that's MIGHTY.
  • Jim Kirkpatrick on Galatians 2
"For faith comes by hearing the word of God"
  • David on Galatians 2
What l think is not important, so when you ask my thoughts you ask of Christ's gospel witch is written on your heart. Knowing all flesh is sinful, my human ideals are unrighteous as no one is completely holy in the flesh. Ask the lord thy God ruler of heaven these things that you seek, thus total truth be shown in light, a honest revelation added unto your spirit.
  • Tim on Galatians 2
I am starting to study figures of speech that are used in the Bible. It is helping me tremendously to under stand what I am reading. No one ever taught me a thing about figures when involved with churches. But I find that without a basic understanding of figures of speech, the Word of God becomes much more difficult. For example: anaphora in Ephesians 6:12.
  • Irene123 on Galatians 2
To Bro. Daniel FC on Gal. ch. 2 - I answered your question about the flood-time 'laws' 3 wks. ago. I'm not one to debate God's word. There's nothing wrong with that; I just don't do it.
  • Bro. Daniel FC on Galatians 2
To: Irene 123 Part 1 Are you saying that God destroyed the antediluvians in spite of the fact that they had no laws to guide them in righteousness? Is God unfair? Sin is the transgression of the law 1Jn. 3:4, and the wages of sin is death Rom. 6:23.
  • Bro. Daniel FC on Galatians 2
    Part 2
Why would Cain and Abel bring sacrifices, unless God instructed them to? Most likely the first family received other instructions/laws. Adam and Eve were commanded not to eat from a certain tree, under the death penalty. They disobeyed and sin entered into the world. That is why Christ had to die, to atone for their and our sins.
  • BSP on Galatians 2
Verse 21 brings out a good point. If righteousness is by the Law alone, then Christ died for nothing.
  • BSP on Galatians 2
In verses 11 through 13 Peter was counseled publicly, but he humbly accepted it. It takes humility in order to accept counsel and to apply it.
  • Lonnie Maddox Sr on Galatians 2
Galatians Remind me we should follow Christ .
  • Martina cosme on Galatians 2

  • Lilian on Galatians 2
Jesus have come to give us life in abundance. We are saved by his grace as God's grace are sufficient enough for us to be saved. Our Faith comes only by hearing the word of God as God's words are powerful to meditate than prayers. Jesus is the bread of life and the light of the world He who believes in him will not be perish but have an everlasting life. What a promising God and what a faithful Father to his words given for us. Jesus made everything new our job now is to believe in him, follow him and obey his words. He who loves him will keep his commandments. Thanks to Jesus for his blood that shed for us. Through his precious blood only our sins are washed away, our ungodly things are cleansed. We need only to trust Jesus and live like him until rapture. I will keep praising God and thank him for he is worthy to be praised. Amen
  • This is Romans 6-8, condensed into one verse. Notice the first half of the verse summarizes our death and resurrection with Christ. But the latter half of the verse focuses on our life of faith in Christ as our enabler. Progressive sanctification or, we could say, the resurrected life is by faith. That doesn t mean we sit back passively and do nothing. It means we trust our Lord to enable us in our doing! Paul makes very clear that sanctification is by faith. • Michael Walker on Galatians 2:18
It certainly gives you a great perspective on Paul 's frame of mind and degree of conviction in his faith, at the time. More importantly however, he emphasizes how critical it becomes for followers of Christ to refrain from reverting back to Legalism which works counter to their faith in Christ and His sacrifice on the Cross and prevents them from justification.
  • Aliyu abraham on Galatians 2:20
It is no longer self that takes charge it is the son of God living his life through me
  • Barara Bahan on Galatians 2
I love Paul and his faithfulness for the gospel how he let Peter know of his hypocrisy.
  • Nwekpem ernest okoro on Galatians 2:2

Of course, the correct answer for all born again children of God is d. all of the above. • "Biblical sanctification is the lifelong process of learning to let Christ live His life through us. It is summed up well in Galatians 2 20. As one submits to the process, he grows spiritually. If one does not understand the process correctly or refuses to yield to the Holy Spirit s working in his life, growth will be stunted. Ongoing, experiential sanctification and spiritual growth are, therefore, closely related concepts.
  • Larry bunch on Galatians 2:16
Gal.2 16 what is work laws of God? Jesus said, " st. John 6 29 this is the work laws of God to believe on him whom he has sent. In Gal. 2 16 to be justified with God we must cling to the work God told us to cling to. Saving faith saving belief in the gospel of The Lord Jesus Christ crucified his death his blood his resurrection known as the work laws of God.
  • The Light of Life on Galatians 2:20
He is in us living for us. Who missed it? We are in Him too. Try to steer myself away from future sin someone said? I say "behold the lamb of God who taketh AWAY the sins of the world ". He is living for me. Not I. Men get this so mixed up. It 's not a call to be righteous by a law that justifies no one. ....it 's unchangeable reality! We do not make ourselves Holy. He makes us Holy. Get it right then "Shine your light ". He is the light. See where is says we "live " by faith. Faith in us ? so backwards Faith In Him! Glory to God.
  • Nyasha on Galatians 2
vs 4 shows us that the enemy uses infiltration to our inner circles through falsehoods and deception. Once he accesses our confidential information, he then uses it to fight us...but lets be wise and never give him time when he uses this tactic. Also we must discern wisely those who want to come close to us.

  • Paul just told it how it is. He died with Christ at Calvary, and was raised with Him. Not hypothetically, or charismatically, but in reality. He brought every thought into obedience, and spoke what God would have him say. A dead man animated by the sprit of Christ. A living sacrifice with the fire of the Holy Spirit on the sacrifice.
