Ezekiel 44, Ezekiel 44:2-3, possibly the prophecy for Luke 19:28-48, Luke 21, notice Luke 21:37, Matthew 21, Mark 11, Notice Mark 11:16, Mark 12 Jesus still in the Temple Mark 13, notice Mark 13:1,3, as noted Jesus went & left, the same direction. John 10:23,

    Ezekiel 44:16,17, Revelation 7 note Revelation 7:14,15,

Ezekiel 47:1-10, healing living water, John 7:38, John 4:11,13,14, Matthew 9:35, Fishers, Ezekiel 47:9,10, Jeremiah 16:16, Matthew 4:19, Mark 1:17,

If you look at Ezekiel 1:1,2,3, they were already going into captivity as Prophesied by Isaiah 39:1-7, 2Kings 24:15, Jeremiah 52:31, before Daniel, Ezra & Nehemiah before the return & rebuilding, Ezekiel 48 - end; might have been the divine blueprint for the temple that was rebuilt before Jesus was born

    Matthew 1:17

    Hopefully these are helpful

I always thought Ezekiel 44 to the last chapter in Ezekiel were the Millennial chapters when Christ reigns 1000 years from Jerusalem. It's difficult to imagine going back to an animal sacrificial system after the death of Christ on the cross, or maybe I am missing something?

The things that were will be again for man is ignorant of the past. Man is blind to wisdom and understanding because he is not born again nor does he want to be, for in so doing he will lose his position and be made fun of. The world is one system and the Kingdom is another. These two systems will never mix, for sin is of darkness and the Words of God is Light.

Connie, when we go into the time of Jacob's trouble will be the start of a new dispensation, we are currently in the church age and are sealed with the Spirit so we can't lose our salvation if saved today. When we are caught up everything changes. I believe the Sabbath say comes back and it looks like sacrifices as well certainly where the Jews are concerned.

Zola. Verse 23 answers your question. It is seven bullocks and seven rams for each of the seven days. So it ends up being 49 after all seven days.
  • Zola on Ezekiel 45:23 - 9 years ago
So was 49 bullocks rams offered or was a one of each per day?

While we are not required to make blood sacrifices because Jesus had paid it all. But must he bear the cross alone? We are to still sacrifice ourselves just as the lamb pure and holy. Without restraint sacrifice we cannot live holy as he has commanded us.

I was just curious about the last few chapters I have written. If this is prophecy about the Millenium, then why does it still talk about sacrifices. Jesus is the Lamb and He already paid the price. Why would we have to do that during the 1000 years?
