Ezekiel was a true prophet of God. He was able to see what was happening in the spirit world and that is a true picture of what is happening now. There are forces that control events in the world and Ezekiel saw that so clearly. I see pride as the a common denominator between the king and prince of tyre. Pride was a link between the two and it ended up in influencing events. God resists the proud.
Tyrus; the above was great, a world power; great military and economy, but sins, ..., ..., therefore the day arrived when the wrath of Jehovah / GOD would be issued against her / Tyrus; the sea /ocean consumed her. (2018 has gone down the same road as Tyrus, now the day of sentencing await 2018). WOW! WOW! WOW!
Ever since men first thought to make themselves a name and build a city with a tower to defy the heavens, the deceits of their heart for a global alliance of Nations has not departed from them, and has been the thrust of all their wars. "The bricks are fallen, but we will rebuild with hewn stone." At one point God removes His restraint, and then will their own confusion be their ruin and end.
a lesson of prosperity to exercise much caution else the deadly sin of greed taketh over...give thanks to God for bestowing such good fortune but be humble and try to be generous....
God means business. It's a lesson we all should learn. Never take pleasure in another person's calamity because it might come back on you worse than them.
