Also, the man born blind John 9:3 "Neither this man nor his parents sinned," said Jesus, "but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life.
Is God responsible for babies being born deaf, dumb, blind? or with other disabilities? I am also thinking about John the Baptist who had the Holy Spirit in the womb and already being chosen, etc. etc.
And Moses said unto the LORD, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue. When I was a kid, like Moses, I also could not talk plain. Some said I was tongue tied. Which made me very bashful.Anyone asked me a question, even if I knew it, I would say I don't know. I can surely understand Moses here.
God did not attend to kill Moses, Moses had to circumcise his son Eliezer or God was going to kill his son. It was their custom to circumcise the males. Since Moses had Eliezer by Zippotah, while in Egypt, it wasn't the Egyptians way. The blessings of God flow down the family tree and Abraham, so all males in that family need to be circumcised if not they will be cut off.... Killed.
Dewey, I really like your comments. The Scriptures are full of information letting us know how weak, sinful and cowardly we humans are yet the Heavenly Father "chooses " to see past this to the soul His Son died for. And though we are rebuked and even punished for what we do...as were the Patriots ...Examples: Judah, David, Solomon, etc... He still loves us and will work thru us for the benefit of those who love Jesus, keep His commandments and walk thru this world by faith.
Evangelist Chatauna, you are correct according to Scripture because Acts 17:30,31 says, "And the times of this ignorance God winked at but now commadeth all men every where to repent: v31 Because he has appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead. We all know that man is Jesus Christ. God bless us all and also in the understanding of his Word. Praise God always through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen!
Clinton, we can see from Scripture that Moses was on the verge of being rude to God and showed a little cowardice. But let us also look at the monumental and very dangerous task Moses was charged with by God. Let us not judge the patriarchs to harshly knowing that we too are in a body of flesh. We don 't have any evidence that God would have healed Moses speech impediment though we are certain that by faith he is more than able. Like God said to apostle Paul concerning his physical defect in 2. Cor. NIV 12:9 "But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weakness, so that Christ 's power may rest on me. God bless us all and also in the understanding of his Word. Glory be to Jehovah in the highest through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen!
Pulpit Commentary Verses 11-13. - Who hath made man 's mouth! God could and would have cured the defect in Moses ' speech, whatever it was could and would have added eloquence to his other gifts, if he had even at this point yielded himself up unreservedly to his guidance and heartily accepted his mission. Nothing is too hard for the Lord. He gives all powers - sight, and hearing, and speech included - to whom he will. He would have been "with Moses ' mouth, " removing all hesitation or indistinctness, and have "taught him what to say " - supplied the thought and the language by which to express it - if Moses would have let him. But the reply in ver. 13 shut up the Divine bounty, prevented its outpour, and left Moses the ineffective speaker which he was content to be. The words, O my Lord, send, I pray thee, by the hand of him whom Thou wilt send, are curt and ungracious much curter in the original than in our version. They contain a grudging acquiescence. But for the deprecatory particle with which they commence - the same as in ver. 10, they would be almost rude. And we see the result in the next verse.

What do you think God is going to do slap folks on the hand? I believe that God will issue out punishment justly and fairly. In the end, those who are not saved will find themselves in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, Revelation 21 7 and 8.

Part 1 of 2 Hello Herbert Hernandez and Richard Uff The LORD God, the I AM is encouraging Moses not to worry about his speech impediment. In verse 11 he is letting Moses know that he made man 's mouth, he made the dumb, he made the deaf, he made the seeing and he made the blind. The very end of that scripture quotes "have not I the LORD? " Didn 't God curse man, woman, the ground, and the serpent in the Garden of Eden? The infirmities may have been the results of the actions of Adam in the Garden, but it was still God that cursed them.
My Christian friend Richard Uff, read Acts 17 28 and you will understand that is God who give us our life, our infirmities that come to us in this life are the results of our fallen sin full nature, not from God.in Exodus 4 11 God is telling Moses not to worry that he will take care of him and will speak for him and Aaron.
This verse has been of great concern to me ever since I came across it. I am fully aware that it is not in God 's nature to make things that aren 't perfect, but here is the sentence "Is it not I, the Lord? " Which would appear to have God admitting that He makes people with infirmities on a whim. I believe this is where the idea that God gives out this sort of condition to teach people things. For someone such as myself, who believes in a perfect God, full of love and grace, I am aware that there must be a deep theological explanation to this statement, but as yet I haven 't come across a satisfactory one, and I 'm keen to find it. I really want to get to the bottom of this, so that I might have answers when talking to people. It does not effect my relationship with Him, but to be able to explain that point to others would be a great help to me.
This chapter, shows the power of our God. He is fulfilling his promises what were given to Abraham. Isac and Jacob. Israel is his "first born " and his consideration to bring back them to Cannon.
Exodus 4 6 is what it is. I 'm reading my Bible and came across this verse. This verse tells you Moseh Moses was actually some race other than white. He was a black man Hebrews and Mistrites Egiptians . When he was commanded to put his hand into his bossom and take it out his hand was white meaning he his skin went pale. If you go to Genesis and revisit the story of Canaan 's curse you would see that the disease of Leprosy was actually passed down through him. This verse was to prove God as a real being. He was giving Moses proof that he was real.
This scripture remains one of the most powerful argument that God wants the church to operate in the anointing and the power of the Holy Spirit, without which we cannot effectively minister the Gospel to this generation. We need to go back into closet fellowship with the Lord, and remain in prayer before Him till He pours His Spirit, with the enabling power to reach the Gospel, break the power of sin over the people and empower us as believers to begin to live true to the faith once delivered to the saints. Just as Moses was given the Rod or staff, we now have the Word, our own version of the Rod, and the Holy Spirit to help us along with it. Without a clear cut display of the power of the Risen Christ in healing and deliverance, and other forms of miracles, the church will not fulfill the great commission and could lose the battle for the souls of men in our sin ridden society.

The voice of the first sign represent the turning of the rod into snake when God mandated Moses to drop his rod on the ground of which he demonstrated this before Pharaoh and his magicians whereby Moses ' snake swallowed that of the magicians yet Pharaoh hardened his heart. While the second sign is the turning of the hand of Moses into leprosy when God instructed him to put his hand in his bosom. This also represent the ten plagues the Egyptians suffered in the hand of Moses and the eventual setting the people of Israel free after the last plague thereby coming to God 's fulfilment that Pharaoh will definitely hearken the voice of the second sign.

I believe this was a practice that had been ignored during the Hebrews captivity in Egypt. Therefore this was a procedure that had to be done to be in right standing following the Covenant between God and His people.
I think god require total obedience from his people , his servants.the call of god require total obedience.god does not change his mind concerni g his words.in this age people making laws attempting to nulify the words of god, this will leadto death of the lawmakers and the lawbreakers.the results of disobedience is death.
