The ten commandments showed you were s righteous Jew if you did what they said, the law of righteousness. Now, we our the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus by doing what Jesus said as he had new laws and commandments. It is now in is and no longer on stone. Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

I keep the Law, by Gods grace, because He loves me and I am a Christian. I keep it because I am a Christian, not to be a Christian. By the blood of Jesus I am no longer under the condemnation of the law. To say we no longer need to keep the law because we are no longer under the law is a complete misinterpretation. Gods moral law, the ten commandments, has never been rescinded. The law stands.

God wanted to be present among His people. He spoke to Moses and gave instructions how to build altars for Him. He wanted people to remember Him and also not to sin.

The ten commandments was a schoolmaster to bring us to Christ. Moses walked around with the law of death the ten commandments. Jesus walked around with a new law, the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus. Galations 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster

The 4th Commandment is "Keep the 7th day holy". This is a BIG example of GOD 7 4 Theory. Sabbath 7 letters Shabbat 7 Shabbos 7 is the seventh 7 day.

The swelling of The Belly is Kwashiorkor,The Body Retaining Water, in The Feet, Legs, Arms etc. Is Oedema. Has Nothing to do with The Bread.

My thought on this curse is a medical one. Those who have been seriously deprived of protein will lose much weight. Then when followed with water and carbohydrates (the bread) causes swelling of the abdomen, as witnessed by seeing starving children in Africa. Again this is based merely on my medical education, NOT on a vast knowledge of Bible curses.

When I study the Bible it is clear to me the instructions from the word of God. Most Christians are uses the same Bible, we come away with a different understanding. Ex. 20:8-11, is clear concerning the observance of the Sabbath. Keeping the commandments is one of the evidence we love the Lord. John 14:15, If you love me , keep my commandments. 1 John 2:3, is evident that we love the Lord.

Verse 4~The Israelites were not to make any images to help them in their worship to Jehovah God. God is a spirit and does not need any material images or statues for a person to worship Him.

Jesus spoke of the woman and the 10 pieces of silver ( Luke 15:8-10). the Woman is Zion ( Jeremiah 6:2), and the 10 pieces are each of his commandments ( Psalms 12:6). AND the one piece that went missing is his Fourth Commandment. You cannot find the missing piece without the light ( Psalms 18:28).

End of day 22 in the daily Bible reading program. If you are "daily reading" it is ok to miss a day and then "catch up". I have done this several times. I listen to the audio as I read along. It is fascinating to me that since creation "human" self interests are at the heart when lacking in faith and subsequent obedience to God. God is always patient and loving despite our selfish tendencies.

To Irene 123: Hi Irene, Good to meet you again. Worshiping God every day of the week is not only OK, it is desirable. But missing your special appointment with God on Saturday Sabbath, My holy day, as He calls it, is not OK. Isa. 58:13. I can tell you for sure; God never changed His Sabbath, from the Creation: But, people did, and that’s not right. Jesus observed His Sabbath: Let's follow Him!
  • Brother Daniel FC on Exodus 20 - 6 years ago
There are only a few cases in the Bible when God writes with His own finger messages , to communicate with man i.e. To us: The Ten Commandments, to Belshazzar, Dan. 5:25, and to the people that brought the woman caught in adultery Jn. 8. In every instance the addressee s was terrified and listened. Today, we dare mock God when He says If you love me keep my commandments Jn. 14:15 What shame!

O sing unto the LORD a new song for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory. Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
