Jesus is our Passover Lamb. Easter is not in the Bible. Where did it start to be observed as Jesus death?
  • Mishael - in Reply on Exodus 12
I believe the word Easter was used to disguise the holiday descending from 'Astarte' or Ishtar?

    Pagan gods worshipped by unbelievers.

I also heard the Catholic Church was involved in the re-naming...

    Anyone else??

    Comon Chris. :D

Yea, of a truth; the roman catholic church is responsible for renaming pagan gods (i.e. "God the son" aka nimrod & "God the holy spirit" aka semiramis; which are no gods) & pagan festivals to cause unlearned "christians" who don't study the scriptures and do their due dilligence to go to hell.

If you research the origin of the christ-mass (which literally means the massacre of Christ) aka "christmas" you will find out that it is actually the roman pagan festival called saturnalia. Jesus Christ wasn't born on Dec 25th, nor was his birthday celebrated in Scripture. Dec. 25th is the winter solstice when the Sun-god is worshipped by pagans.

Likewise Easter is actually a pagan holiday in reverence to ishtar aka diana aka semiramis : the pagan sun goddess of fertility.

This is why all 501c3 roman/babylonian whorehouses masquerading as "churches" all have easter sunrise service where they face the east.

This is why Herod celebrated easter.

But the great whore MYSTERY BABYLON MOTHER OF HARLOTS (aka the roman catholic church) and all her jesui infiltrated daughters don't want you to know that.

"Take heed that no man deceive you."

Jesus said that if people are not of God they will not hear or understand. The Pharisees where the perfect example .

We all are learning and growing in the knowledge of God and truth Or have rejected it . Gods will is that all will come to the knowledge of the truth . In time before judgement day . But many refuse .

But When Jesus appears then all will come to the knowledge of the truth . But as He said be ready for he comes quickly .

This is my hope the time when I see him as He is , and will be changed to be like him ! Amen

    On the last day .

May the Spirit grace you with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

Exodus 12:1-51 God would deliver his people out of Egypt with one last plague (Death). The people were told to kill a lamb and cover their house with it's blood. Death would passover the houses covered with the blood of the lamb.

God's word says that the old was a shadow of the new (true). Therefore, Christ's (the true lamb) blood will cover his house (whose house we are, ( Hebrews 3:6). DEATH WILL PASSOVER

1 Corinthians 15:26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death.

1 Corinthians 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave where is thy victory?

Christ is our PASSOVER from death to LIFE.

    ... Revelation 21:1

May I know sir, since pharoh made a declaration not to see Moses, why requesting for him again?
  • Stanjett - in Reply on Exodus 12:29
Because all the things that Moses said to him that was going to happen, happened.
  • Chris - in Reply on Exodus 12:29
You're almost correct in your understanding of these verses.

Exodus 10:28: "And Pharaoh said unto him, Get thee from me, take heed to thyself, see my face no more; for in that day thou seest my face thou shalt die." Examining this verse, it appears that Pharaoh is commanding Moses not to appear before him anymore & Moses replies (v29) that he (Moses) will no longer come to Pharaoh.

But in Exodus 12:31: "And he (Pharaoh) called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as ye have said." So here, Moses abides by Pharaoh's command to not come before him, but now after this final assault on the Egyptians, it was Pharaoh that called for Moses (& Aaron). So there is no conflict in these verses/directions from Pharaoh: first, he told Moses not to come to him, but did not make it clear that he (Pharaoh) could still summon for Moses to come to him when ordered to do so.

After 66 years I have come to the awareness of this command. I am not Jewish but I want to follow God commandments as instructed on Exodus 12:17 of the unleavened bread. I have eaten leavened bread this morning and I feel I have already violated the first thing God almighty instructed for me to do. What to do now? After 66 years and knowledge has passed me.. Lord please be merciful on my soul.

Sir, you've done no wrong. It's not what we eat that defiles us, but what comes out of the mouth ( Matt. 15:11). It's the evil that comes out of the mouth that defiles because it comes from the heart. Also, I want to share something I have learned about the so called greatest commandments spoken in Matthew Chapter 22. Those are not commandments at all. Our English bibles look like they are commands, but in the Greek text, they are not in command form but are statements of fact. Jesus was not commanding us to love Him or our neighbor. What He was saying is that if you have born of His Spirit, you will love the Lord you God, and you will love your neighbor. Not a command but statement of fact.

Sir, you've done no wrong. Jesus said ( Matthew 15:11) that it is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a man, but what comes out. Food we eat does not defile us. It's what comes out of the mouth, the evil a person speaks, because that comes from the heart. Also, I want to share something else here that I have learned. The two "greatest commandments" in Matthew Chapter 22, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God, and love thy neighbor, are not commands. Our bibles make it sound like they are commands, but the Greek text shows that they are not commands. Jesus is not commanding us to love Him or our neighbor. He's giving us a factual statement, you will love, if you have my Spirit in you. Fact!

Someone asked Jesus what was the most important commandment.
Matthew 22:36 - Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Mat 22:37 - Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Mat 22:38 - This is the first and great commandment.
Mat 22:39 - And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Mat 22:40 - On these two commandments hang ALL the law and the prophets.

was Jesus crucifixion before the Passover? if some saying that blood on the door was Jesus blood, and they calling him the Lamb, why was he also being called GOD, and why was Jesus had to protect us Israelite from God who save us from Egypt? Why would we have to demise Jesus to protect his father from us? The Ten Commandment state have no other GOD but him. So how we drag Jesus as a GOD when we are told he is the son. We are made in the image of our father GOD. And this poor lamb is very confuse no wonder we have men pretending to be female, Adam name all the animals, and Jesus was not one of them. Our churches are so confuse today. We need to look at Passover very carefully, and there not 2.
  • Frank - in Reply on Exodus 12
The Passover started the same day that Jesus died on the cross at sunset. Jesus said I and the Father are one. I in him and He in me. Jesus is God manifest in the flesh.

In one house shall it be eaten thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house neither shall ye break a bone thereof. When Jesus died on the cross, they broke the bones of the two thiefs of the two on either side of him but when they saw that Jesus was already dead, they broke none of his bones.

On the 15th day after the spring equinox is Passover, then Christ walked on earth 40 days in resurected body then transfigured and rose to Heaven said in ten days I will give you a great gift. The Holy Spirit protects us in His earthly absence. We are not alone.
