Wesley's Notes for Exodus 34:34

34:34 When he went before the Lord, he put off the veil - Every veil must be thrown aside when we go to present ourselves unto the Lord. This signified also, as it is explained, #2Cor 3:16|, that when a soul turns to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away, that with open face it may behold his glory.

On the subject of Christ being tempted as we are , the difference is we are compelled by our sin nature i.e. inclined by that nature to follow it's lustful desire where as there was nothing in him for Satan to draw from. On one occasion Jesus warned his disciples, saying Satan cometh but he hath no thing in me.

You do realize that if you believe in the divinity of Christ then there is no possible way of him being tempted by anything since he is God.

Bruce your are dead on with your comment. We are created in the image and likeness of God. If we have emotion, He had it first. Likewise Christ while here on earth was in all points tempted like we are. With that in mind we can 't shake our fist at Him and say you don 't know what I 'm going through. Yeah He does, He went through it first.

What makes someone think that jealousy or any other emotion is a human emotion. Did Gods anger not wax hot? We were made in Gods image not the other way around.
