Wesley's Notes for Exodus 20:15

20:15 Thou shalt not steal - This command forbids us to rob ourselves of what we have, by sinful spending, or of the use and comfort of it by sinful sparing; and to rob others by invading our neighbour's rights, taking his goods, or house, or field, forcibly or clandestinely, over - reaching in bargains, not restoring what is borrowed or found, with - holding just debts, rents or wages; and, which is worst of all, to rob the public in the coin or revenue, or that which is dedicated to the service of religion.

IRENE123: where do you get your supporting scripture or instructions to worship or "keep Sunday as the Sabbath?"

I am lucky to have a great dad and stepmom, who love me and are good people. I thank God for them.

To Irene 123: Hi Irene, Good to meet you again. Worshiping God every day of the week is not only OK, it is desirable. But missing your special appointment with God on Saturday Sabbath, My holy day, as He calls it, is not OK. Isa. 58:13. I can tell you for sure; God never changed His Sabbath, from the Creation: But, people did, and that’s not right. Jesus observed His Sabbath: Let's follow Him!

There are only a few cases in the Bible when God writes with His own finger messages , to communicate with man i.e. To us: The Ten Commandments, to Belshazzar, Dan. 5:25, and to the people that brought the woman caught in adultery Jn. 8. In every instance the addressee s was terrified and listened. Today, we dare mock God when He says If you love me keep my commandments Jn. 14:15 What shame!

O sing unto the LORD a new song for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory. Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.

This is a divine commandment from God and if more would obey this commandment, they would receive his blessing.
