I BELIVE GOD IS OUR FATHER! THIS VERSE IS SOMETIMES USED OUT OF CONTENT AND NOT WHAT GOD IS SHARING WITH US.A MOTHER AND FATHER ARE EQUAL...WE ARE BOTH TO BE EXZAMPLES THROUGH CHRIST. OUR CHILDREN WILL WANT TO RESPECT US IF WE ARE EXZAMPLES AS MUCH AS WE CAN POSSILBLE BE. THIS VERSE IS ABOUT HONORING THY FATHER AND MOTHER.IF A FATHER OR MOTHER SHOWS ACTION OF WRATH ALOT AROUND HIS HOME ITS UNDERSTANDABLE THAT A CHILD WILL QUESTION IF HE OR SHE SHOULD LISTEN TO HIS PARENTS.WHOEVER IT MAY BE FATHER OR MOTHER A CHILD SHOULD TRY TO HUMBLE THEMSELVES AND PRAY THAT ONE DAY GOD WILL USE THEM AND TEACH THEIR CHILDREN DIFFERENTLY.EVERYONE... MAN,WOMAN,YOUNG OR OLD SHOULD RESPECT EACH OTHER AS CHRIST WOULD WANT US TO. WE MAY NOT APPROVE OF EVERYTHING BUT ITS ALL A LEARNING PROCESS AND THATS HOW WE HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO TEACH OUR CHILDERN TO LOVE GOD AND HE WILL TRULY GIVE YOU EVERYTHING.........HAPPINESS,LOVE,UNDERSTANDING, SELF ESTEEM AND YOU 'LL BE A LIGHT AND AT THE END EVERLASTING LIFE! THE GREATEST GIFT OF THEM ALL. LIFE IS A GIFT TRY TO MAKE IT EASIER.....AND ENJOY EVERY DAY. mrd

Ephesians 6 is a powerful chapter, not to exclude the others. It tells you how to fight and how to battle because the enemy comes in many ways and forms and we must be prepared for battle. We can 't fight with our own strength but with God 's help. We must deny ourselves in order to battle. We must be lead by the Holy Spirit and not by self. 2 Corinthians 10 4, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God, to the pulling down of strong holds.

Monica...my heart goes out to you. I can only imagine what you must be going through. If it is your son calling you those names then your husband has every right to be upset at your son and if it is your husband then he definitely has a problem. I raised six kids and I know how belligerent they can become during their teenage years. The only heart felt suggestion is that when the turmoil starts lock yourself in a closet and start praying. The God you serve is stronger then any turmoil going on around you. Read Philippians 4 6 7, Isaiah 12 2, Romans 5 1, Isaiah 41 10

My husband and son stays into with each other. Husband don 't think anybody in the household is right about anything. When you express your feeling a person is lying. Times are to the point of someone getting hurt or dying. I the mother becomes bitches and whores because I know for a fact he wrong. The last one of my children is not as strong as the rest of the family and he tries not to react to things but if you keep pushing him more like provoking him his anger becomes violence and his daddy think in his mind that he is not provoking his child. What do I do?

I believe this instruction is given to fathers ' to help children adhere to the 1st commandment with promise... honor and obey thy father and thy mother so that it will be well with them and they will have long life on this earth. If one provokes their child to wrath and anger the child is in danger of reacting disrespectful towards their elders thus not being able to be led in wisdom nor compassion... A lack of respect or trust for those in authority.

Wiles means....lies,trick s,devices untruthfulness

Let 'us worship our GOD of heaven only.

Jesus is The Way, The Truth The Light.Only him He will always love you Forgive you. He knocks at thedoor of your heart soul. Only you can let him in by asking him to come. Your love, peace, joy Salvation awaits you! May your new armour of lord strenghthen you!

This verse needs to be adhered to , because if a child is brought up in a harsh household, he she will most likely become like the parent and even show that type of behavior with the general public, making life difficult and hard for the person to get along with others.

Be strong is a statement of a soldier 's duty,in order to stay strong when satan attacks us.satan does not recognize words of wisdom,only the demonstration of the power of God through the Holy Ghost.Ep 3 16

Ephesians 6 11 Putting on the whole armor of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil to me means just simply studying the word and knowing exactly what we have in Jesus if we apply the word. Psalms explains how the word is a lamp for us. How can you be guided by the lamp if you do not know how to use it. The devil is very smart and has all kinds of devices that he is using in this present world to slowly destroy us all the way starting from the tv and now all the smartphones so many forms of evil communications that is available for this generation. If you have the word in your heart and in your mind then you can fight the devil trys to steal people 's mind if he can control the way you think then he already has a weapon to fight with. The bible states how a man thinketh in his heart then so is he. So we first must get rooted and grounded in the word so therefore we can fight.

There is evil and wickeness in high places and the devil is in the background orchestrating it all. We are fighting against evil men who are in power, being directed by Satan. The devil is called the god of this world. God has given him authority to control this world. He wanted to be God, so God is allowing him for a time to rule the earth, but his end is coming, and he and all those who bow down to the devil, will be cast into hell for ever. Spiritual wickedness in high places can not be seen with the physical eye. This is why we must be quickened spiritually and die out to the flesh, so we will be enlightened. This is a spiritual warfare, so we must have on the whole armour of God to do battle. Satan meanwhile, is lulling people to sleep with the cares of this life. Jesus is telling us to wake up, watch and pray that we fall not into temptation.

We are strong in the Lord and the power of his might.

Brethren, we all know that we can apply this relationship to our contemporary employer employee relationship. This will give meaning to these verses, if we apply them to ourselves. God Bless

Yes the whole armour of God by the taking the gospel of peace truth,shield of faith,helmet of salvation,sword of the spirit,and praying always.

We must put on the armor of God every day.Study it ,This is God food.Get it into your heart.It will produce FAITH

Ephesians 6 strengthens me its awesome and wonderful. We are children of God, we should respect what God has done for us. We should pray all times and talk to God for our needs

We are strong and mighty because the Lord strenght is in us

I love it and gives me strenghth and knowledge and learn more about my faith..

For armour of GOD to be effect,we need to be free from sin.

THAT I DO NOT HAVE TO RELY ON MY STRENGTH..FOR IT MAY LACK THE "POWER " NECCESSARY TO OVERCOME WHATEVER CHALLENGE S I MAY BE FACING,..BUT TO PUT MAY FAITH BELIEF IN GOD, TO CONQUER TRIUMP OVER EVERY ADVERSITY ..ALL POWER IS IN HIS HANDS

the armour must be put on and never taken off.
