Dear Douglas Russel Jr., Oh, how I hope since you've reached out here, that you have come to understand The Good News of Christ's Love and what it means to be saved by God's Amazing Grace :)

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 "...I declare unto you the GOSPEL...By which also ye are saved...How that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. :)

*Because of what God says in His Word, the Bible, I believe*:

that man is saved from eternal punishment and is justified freely by grace through faith in the sacrificially shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary

    ( Romans 3:21-26, Ephesians 2:8-9, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4).

that Salvation is a completely undeserved free gift bestowed upon all who simply believe ( Romans 5:12-21, 4:5).

during this dispensation of grace, every person who believes the gospel of the grace of God ( Acts 20:24) is eternally saved from God's wrath.

All saved people during the dispensation of grace are eternally saved and complete in Christ ( Romans 5:1, Colossians 2:10).

Salvation is the work of God and not the work of man. Therefore, it is impossible for anyone who has trusted in Christ to ever be lost again. AND ...We are sealed by the Holy Spirit and are not our own -- we are bought with a price

    ( Colossians 3:1-4, Romans 8:29-39, Ephesians 1:13-14, 4:30, 1Corinthians 6:19-20).

Space here is running low. I hope to share more in another comment if allowed.

As the Apostle Paul repeatedly said:

" Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ " ... Amen.

DWL, I understand that verse to mean that YOU are that someone! Why you (and me)? Because we are the overcomers in our Christian walk on Earth & all that God has prepared for those who have loved & served Him faithfully are beyond the scope of our imagination & knowledge ( 1 Cor 2:9). And the opposite of those who inherit all things, are described in the following verse (21:8): and these inherit only what is store for them in the Lake of Fire.
  • Jesse - In Reply on Ephesians 1 - 3 years ago
Mark, if you are still here, I say Amen!
  • D W L - In Reply on Ephesians 1 - 3 years ago
Revelation 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit ALL things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. --- How can someone have a greater reward if I inherit ALL things?

Love God like he did to us and get ready to see more trials coming your way. Christian life is not easy. I have learned a lot since the day I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I have been through many storms and with God anything is possible. Trust Him, do not lean on your own understanding, because His plans are to prosper us not to harm. Lets get your full armor of God on and lets keep going for our purpose in life to glorify God alone.

All you have to do to receive Jesus Christ into you life is to be sorry for your sins. Get on your knees and ask Him to forgive you of you sins. The plan of salvation is very easy. He love you so just love Him back by living a good life after you receive Him in your heart. He said He would never leave you so when you have a problem take it to Him. He Is our helper.

Repentance is a ongoing thing in the Christian life as we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 1 John 1: 5-10 Thank you and God bless.
  • Vanessa - In Reply on Ephesians 1 - 4 years ago
Lord how should we pray they asked him Luke 11:1-4 God bless, peace be with you
  • Doug Puckett - In Reply on Ephesians 1 - 4 years ago
If a man thinks he can be lost after salvation and is taught to depend on his own works of righteousness he will try instead of trust and will surely fail. Salvation produces good works because we have been born of God. You will never have enough good works to merit salvation.

The once saved, always saved doctrine is not supported by scripture. If Paul had to die daily, then who are we, that God would save us and expect nothing on our part? Paul said he was concerned that after he preached to others, he himself would also be a cast away. If Paul was concerned about being cast away, we certainly know that God expects something from us. The Bible says we are servants to whom we yield our members to obey. If we constantly sin, we are a servant of sin. Christ died to save us from our sins, not in our sins. There is much scripture that refutes this frightening once saved doctrine. No need for a Bible if living right was unnecessary.

Romans 10:9 says "That if thou halt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved." Vs. 10 " For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Vs.13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." This is the plan of Salvation .

Laci-Ann, I have no bad intent, just thought you might want to know that the God of life is always capitalized. Little "g" God is used when you are referring to other gods.
  • Margaret Davis - In Reply on Ephesians 1 - 4 years ago
Douglas Russell Jr., If you died today do you know where you would go ? Do you believe we are all born sinners ? But through the gift of God his son Jesus spilled out his blood as the altemint sacrifice covering our sins. By faith in Jesus and all he is we are born again to new creatures, the children of God. I pray if you do not know Jesus as your savior you will find a KJV teaching church

Many people don t like what the word of god says. You know that the only way you could ever do the work of god is to make the right decision for him

Dr. Wanda-you are so right. I'm not sure of what you are searching but maybe this will help. Check Eph 1:3-it says we have God Christ-now see v9, we have the mystery of His will-The Holy Spirit. That completes the Godhead-creation-salvation-and Gods Holy Spirit, though the throne is in heaven God is always with us. Pray to God in the name of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit will complete prayer.

God Bless you to, and I understand what you are saying but if you read 1 John 1-10, not one is perfect, we deceive ourselves if we think we haven't sinned , Jesus said to repent, even in revelations it tells you repent for you know not when your time will end, I would repent daily
