Wesley's Notes for Ephesians 4:18

4:18 Having their understanding darkened, through the ignorance that is in them - So that they are totally void of the light of God, neither have they any knowledge of his will. Being alienated from the life of God - Utter strangers to the divine, the spiritual life. Through the hardness of their hearts - Callous and senseless. And where there is no sense, there can be no life.

People's Bible Notes for Ephesians 4:18

Eph 4:18 Having the understanding darkened. He shows how the Gentiles walk in vanity. They are in darkness, unenlightened by the gospel. Alienated from the life of God. Without the spiritual life that comes from knowing God. Because of blindness of their heart. The idea is a willful blindness.

Kent, YES but don't look for them to be splashed all over the internet, or on TV: as the true servants of Jesus will also walk in the steps of the Master, and not be seeking for people to recognize them. Like the Lord said; "the tree is known by its fruit;" to whomsoever God gives a gift, it will be from what is really put in him from God; and nothing manufactured by his own doings or methodology.

Juarez: Sometimes it is hard to forgive someone, even with Christ in my heart. I could boil for a while, grit my teeth, where's that baseball bat! Thanks be to God he can bring calm in the storm! All the sinful things we done that brought unbelievable pain to our Savior! He said I forgive you. The anger can turn to peace when you forgive those who hurt you. Face to face or in prayer or both.
