3:7 According to the gift of the grace of God - That is, the apostle - ship which he hath graciously given me, and which he hath qualified me for. By the effectual working of his power - In me and by me.

    God could now give us His grace through the faith of Jesus, who exercised His faith in being obedient to death, even the death of the cross. Jesus fulfilled God's plan of forgiveness and everything we receive from God by being obedient to God's will. Now God could extend His grace to us.
