    I agree with everyone,

we must trust & know 100%

that we are saved by our savior,

    the sacrificial lamb

{{{the perfect sacrifice}}} and thru him only.

noone else could have saved us but him.

we must know we cannot get to heaven by our works,

    but,

at the same time we are to be the salt & the light to the non believers in the world around us,.

i feel that ther is a thin line between

works vs. living by our father in heavens

commandments out of true love & respect. like someone commented,

    the holy spirit changes us,

its being delivered from our former worldly selfish & materialistic life, to our new life,

not of the world. its definitely a spiritual transformation once we truly surrender fully, this is wen we start our walk with our savior.

and its a true desire to express our love & 100% faith in the holy trinity.

by us surrendering ourselves and wanting to serve him in any way that we can.

we that love the holy trinity with all our heart, mind, body, spirit & soul long for the moment we can be with god, as

    we seek his face daily!!!!

    lol.

and i know that i and probably all of u will

not even be able to look upon the father & son wen the time comes!

we will be laying down in the dirt

while crying our eyes out &

surely we will be unable to speak,

compared to them we are filthy as the dirt we will

    lay & cry in.

But none of these things could ever save, for it is written, "There is none righteous, no, not one:" The only way to Heaven is to forsake your righteousness and place your trust in what God did for you when he sent his son to die on a tree. Titus 3:5,

"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;"

The gospel: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; [2] By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. [3] For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; [4] And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

If you trust in anything else besides Paul's gospel to get you to Heaven, then you're on your way to hell.

In order for people to see Christ in us it should show on the outside what is really hidden on the inside.if Gods love is in us people should see that without question.the power of Gods love is life changing and that's the real message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.People should see a reflection of Christ thru your lifestyle which is an outward sign not thru t-shirts and bumper stickers....

Acts 2:38. repent and be baptized for the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the holy ghost
  • Johnny Martinez - In Reply on Ecclesiastes 8 - 4 years ago
1 peter 3:21 says baptism is to save us. it is NOT an "outward" sign.

God it not mocked Brianna. Do not seek attention. Nowhere are we advised to seek attention. Or fame. Try Chapter 18 on the Idols of the House of Israel. These famous and glamorous people only serve one purpose - to lead others astray. Have nothing to do with them. Do you see the question on the right hand side of this page? What should we seek? Wisdom, not fame. Have faith, and ask for wisdom :

To receive the Holy Spirit one must confess and repent from your sins, pray and ask God for the Holy Spirit to fill you, be baptised (this is an outward show to the world that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior). Expect God to work in your life! Amen

Titus: When The Lord Calls ( John 6:44) You Ask Forgiveness. You will be Washed in His Blood. ( Revelation 1:5) Then The Holy Ghost Moves in ( Mark 1:8) You Will be Changed ( 2Corinthians 5:17) You Will Know, Impossible not to.

They know not God, no relationship with Him. They have a carnal mind.
  • Titus on Ecclesiastes 8 - 5 years ago
How do you receive the Holy Ghost?
  • Chris Powell on Ecclesiastes 8 - 5 years ago
God is in control, obey his commandments and live! He knows ALL about his creation and only he knows it all. Man can try to understand but will fail. Why can men not except that God is real and that his word is the truth? He even promised us to come visit us the true believers via the Holy Ghost. Even in these darks days I pray and Thank God for the Holy Ghost.
  • Brianna vs. 14 on Ecclesiastes 8 - 5 years ago
Solomon truly said there is nothing new under the sun. Is verse 14 not the TRUTH!?!?! If you try to stick to your moral standards and live the life of a christian, you will be treated as something wicked. Yet, those who practice wicked things are celebrated. How is it that entertainers that are immoral get more attention than, causes that are for the benefit of all people. ( Charities)
  • Mark on Ecclesiastes 8 - 6 years ago
What a great book! Wisdom about all of the things that go on "under the sun" from a man that had everything.
  • Brianna vs. 5 on Ecclesiastes 8 - 6 years ago
Vs.5 highlight the importance of studying God's word. When we pay attention to the commands in the Bible we will know how to act with wisdom and avoid harm.

  • Brianna vs. 11-13 on Ecclesiastes 8 - 6 years ago
With all the unjust court rulings happening, I do appreciate seeing God's Justice. Wicked men think that they can do all the bad they want just because judgement has not been executed immediately. That is the time for repentance. However, we are promised that it will not turn out well for the wicked. Jehovah God will bring justice. Unlike human courts, who very often let criminals go free.
  • Brianna Vs. 9 on Ecclesiastes 8 - 7 years ago
Seeing the Bible's words fulfilled in every part of the earth shows how true it is. In every way, shape, and form people are being oppressed around the world. Human rulers are following after their leader. ( 1 John 5:19) That is why Jehovah God's government is being promoted by his people to show that there is a government that is pure

When people don't immediately have to face the consequences of their actions, they can become set in a bad course as verse 11 shows.

It's one thing my mother taught me well is to never questioned God; I thank God for knowing my heart and not just judging me according to my actions. Because God knows what is causing the problems to his people unknowingly, principalities. I thank God everyday for his Mercy
  • BARBARA on Ecclesiastes 8:5 - 8 years ago
Solomon shares what he felt in the time God gave him to learn from his mistakes and God still use him after he lost kingdoms except 1. This shows that God kept his promise to David to keep a light for his throne for JESUS. THIS chapter tell me I 'm safe long ss I 'm in Gods will and the ones that 's not it font apply to them.

  • Issak on Ecclesiastes 8 - 9 years ago
on the other side of he coin the verse could say "because sentence for a Good work is not executed speedily...... " you can do good deeds all the time but don 't expect any recompense the same day, your recompense will be in heaven..!
  • Issak on Ecclesiastes 8 - 9 years ago
chapter 8 11 it would be interesting to see if God will speedily or instantly punish you for your bad deeds , like if you spit sombebody you will get spited also immediatly, or if you kill somebody you will be killed also immediately,so people will not commit evil acts and will learn from experience.

Loving people do not use discipline in a vain or vindictive manner Wise people recognize this and take advantage of such an opportunity and readjust their course while fools abuse it and face eventual consequences that they care to know not may the lord help us to prosper from his valuable provision amen

I QUESTION THE PART ABOUT WISE AND VIRTOUS MEN BEING IN THE HAND OF God. SOME HOW I GOT IT MIXED UP THAT GOD RAN THE EARTH THROUGH WISE AND VIRTOUS MEN AND MEN can NOT UNDERSTOOD THAT or or that this is how the earth is governed say how it is and WAS THE CASE. EXCEPT GOD DOES / I FIND THIS HARD TO PUT TOGETHER AS THE COIN HAS CEASERS FACE ON IT NOT JESUSES!/ GAVE ME SOME TEMPERARY HOPE FOR THE EARTH ( NOW I CANT FIND WHERE I GOT THAT WORDING FROM ECCLESIATES)
  • Brianna on Ecclesiastes 8:11 - 10 years ago
What an application. I thought about this scripture for parents and teachers.

I was in a class where the teacher would do nothing to "control" the class. They just kept letting bad kids act up till it got to the boiling point. Too late. The kid has formed a habit in making you a push over.

Then, this scripture came to mind. It is very true. If you don't handle problems swiftly, the bad person will become set in their ways. Cut the problem off at the start before it becomes a habit!!
