yes everything is vanity in this world.
  • Daisy
I think we forget that all things we have here in this world are borrowed. Nothing truly belongs to me or anyone. Once we die, we leave it all behind. We should never be attached to anything in this life. It will all soon be left behind.
  • Carlene Foster
What i have just learn in Ecclesiastic make want to be humble. Whatever you're bless with in life we should remain humble because all things in life is vanity and when we forget the keeper of them all it vex the Holy Spirit.

seeking pleasure of the things you possess of this world, an glorify in riches means nothing, it will all be someones elses when we leave, nothing here really matters except glorifying God the father and be thankful to him for sending his son to die on a cross so we can have a life with him forever, that's our true treasure and the one I seek, we are free from the burdens of this life. Amen!

Verse 11~Solomon was the richest and wisest man of his time and he came to the conclusion that lasting happiness and fulfillment is not found in seeking a life of materialism.

There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God.

To have what you need and take satisfaction in your work and achievements is of God. Striving to have more than everyone else is totally unnecessary and vain.

There is nothing new under the sun. All our labor

Verse 24 shows that the only reason we can enjoy the things that bring us pleasure in life is because God allows us to enjoy them. We should truly be grateful to God and live our lives in a way that shows that we appreciate all the good that Jehovah God has done for us.

All is well when we have Jesus as our leader all we have to do is obey his word that is the only truth then he will teach us how to treat our follow man and live In this world without being of the World when we walk and talk and pray and study the bible life is not hard we make it hard by the way we see things I our minds walk not in your understanding talk with Jesus before u do things Amen

What was missing was eternity with all Heaven. Life on earth without God is not really life at all but certain emptiness and death. Hopeless and helpless till Jesus...................................
  • Dean COOPER
Gives a lot to consider,.He's at the crossroads, and like many of us.chooses the wrong path, lots of lessons here if we don't think he was just a fool after all it could happen to me also to think not is also vanity
  • Odetta anese hines
This has been another great lesson.I enjoy the trivial questions.

What I got out of this is u can have everything u need on the earth and if u do not have Jesus U don 't have Nothing so what we need to do first is to accept Jesus first then he will give u you what u stand in need of praise The Lord Amen

Whatever we do in the world is vanity.
  • We were made to find satisfaction in wholesome work. Even in the direst of circumstances, you can enjoy a measure of satisfaction in life right now from working diligently and honestly.

Glory, praise and honour to our Lord and God. It 's written that the duty of man is to seek first the kingdom of God and all his righteousness. In all our ways to acknowledge him for he is the true and living God, the. Great I am. Through his son the Lord Jesus Christ we have been redeemed and reconciled unto God. King. Solomon who wrote this chapter concludes with all his riches and wisdom without God, all he had was vanity and vexation of spirit.
  • Godly wisdom, which brings joy, is given to a man who is good before Jehovah God. It is impossible to gain this wisdom without having a good relationship with God
  • Kaneng
    This is so true.
  • Colette
We are all chasing after the wind this is human The real essence of life is to acquire divine wisdom live by these principles and enjoy what God has already blessed us with Don t amass or seek for what will add no value to your life and instead distress you
  • Roy
this man is simply telling us that many at times we worrying of earthly things that are worthless rather than focusing on the coming of Christ
This chapter is about how the King hates the fact that even though he has built up a great kingdom..he has nothing to show for what God has given him..Wisdom and knowledge..he has not honored God so he hates himself for it...We will die like the fool if the wisdom that God has given does not show itself..or give benefit.. or give respect to God. The wise man is only wise if it makes a DIFFERENCE....AND praise be given to God who has given that wisdom

Ecclesiastes 2 : it's a reminder for all of us that no matter what we have or what we want in the end it's all vanity, when really all we need while here on this earth is LOVE , food and clothing , the latter two of the three will be supplied the first you as a human must make the choice ... will you Love everyone as CHRIST loves you or will you pick and choose who u will Love.
  • Prince Tuck for verse 14
    Re: Eccl 2:14

Another divine reminder that the Heretofore is preparation for the Hereafter (Death is only the beginning)... Wisdom is Divine Guidance, rewarded in both the Heretofore and the Hereafter! So capitalise! Because Death doesn't discriminate. All that's left is Piety.
  • Ngel Ukoh
Ecclesiastes 2 made me to understand that we should not hold the things of this world very tied, so that when the time comes it will be easy to leave them without pain, because everything under the earth is vanity upon vanity.
  • Joseph G. Conteh
The economics' theory of unlimited wants of human beings is being drawn from Ecclesiastes. One may desire something, the moment s(he) gets that, then another desire emerges. One is never satisfied with whatever s(he) has, does, sees, hears, feels etc... Therefore one needs to have a neutralizing point which is the Lord God who should be allowed to reign in our lives. We need to care for one another and avoid gathering riches which may be inherited by our enemies.
  • Terry Trussell
I have been away from God for a long time, but I have been feeling his presence all around me lately, I was saved on Feb.21 1994, after a few years I left the church, been trying life on my own, it hasn't been working out too good! I'm just Thankful we have a forgiving God, like he said he'll never leave me nor forsake me. Praise Jesus!! Will keep asking for prayers for encouragement and uplifting my spirits!
  • Victoria Tupu
I agree really nothing but Jesus, what matters. Don't store treasures for no reason. Help, give to poor and do everything what Jesus would want you to do. Love my father(:
  • Bernie
What I got Is really we are really nothing In the sight of GOD.What ever we get Is from GOD.We need to give all the Glory because we could not have done It without him. What we have Is GOD.We need to have his character and his righteousness and the love his for the human race.
