    When God brought Israel out from the bondage of Egypt, He made a Covenant with them to be their God, and that they should be His people. Not only for themselves, but for the benefit of all the world, God separated Israel unto Himself, and gave them the Charge of His holy Oracles. Since they refused until there was no remedy, God now sends for His Elect from the Nations without them.
