Acts chapter 2 is a continuation of John the Baptist's baptism see Mk 1:4. That's why they had to be re baptized in Acts 19 because they had his baptism Acts 19:4. After the Jews rejected Christ in Acts 7 Paul is saved and God goes to the Gentiles Acts 20:28.
