    I agree with Matthew Henry about verses 24 to 27.. In the dispensational scheme, the person who will 'confirm the covenant with many for one week' is a future 'antichrist' character, who will exalt himself over all things good and holy in a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem. By incorporating this with passages from the book of Revelation, and others, they turn this precious Old Testament prophecy into a vile, twisted and blasphemous futurist vision! The He who is spoken of here is Jesus Christ Our Lord and Saviour, so obviously even I can understand it! Don't be taken in people, do your homework and be careful. Praise God, in Jesus' name!
