    David is in a good place. He 's searching the scriptures and doing an inventory in his own life. All the accusations are lies, and that puts David in a favorable place to call on the Lord. Suffering is difficult at any time, however I believe the worst suffering in David 's case, would have been if the things said were true. Peter wrote I Peter 2:20b but if when you do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.
