Verse 4, Jesus prayed to his father before his death to remove the cup that he had to drink. Perhaps the cup Jesus has to face in his return to earth at the end of days is this cup of Babylon the Great. Babylon the Great is World Nuclear War and Jesus will have to fight in it, drink from that cup. Jesus wanted nuclear weapons to never be created in the first place when he asked the cup to be removed. God allowed their creation to show mankind that war is not the way to true peace nor is war the path to God. God has allowed man freedom of action and will not interfere until he sends Jesus to end it. Verse 6, righteous Christians will be killed with nuclear weapons. Verse 9, the 7 are nations that have nuclear weapons and will go to war using them. Verse 12 and 13, the beast is WAR. They will hate the harlot, they will attack nuclear plants that should have only been used for good but instead were perverted to create nuclear weapons, and they will attack these plants by bombing them and removing their protective enclosures, making then naked, so that they go into nuclear fission and burn. Verse 17, God will allow the Christian nations fight with nuclear weapons also to defend his people from complete destruction. Verse 14, Jesus will lead the battles and win.
