The Textus Receptus canon was agreed c.250 during the Smyrna or persecution period. Sadly very few of the older fragments remain but El Shaddai oversees His Word and this scripture follows the tenets of the Word. At a stroke it removes any assumptions of the heresy of infant baptism or Augustinian notions of rebaptism.
