People today have alot of hate in their hearts .God warns us to love one another.God warns that when we see these things come to pass, look up for your redemption draweth near,even at the door.We need to repent and let the Holy Ghost have His way in our heart.
My take on it is this: when you go to McDonalds there's always someone asking for change. Many times you'll see the same guy for years on end.
Anyone in a city can tell you about the guys who roll around with gas cans , asking you to spare a few bucks because they just ran out of gas and need to get to work, only to turn around and hit the liquor store.
After years and years and tale upon tale of the same old tired lines; there comes a point where you wax cold to the plight of anyone, needing anything!
Whether Christ was convicting the one who waxed cold or the willful deliberate scam artist is open for interpretation.
