    the apex of 1 peter is be ye holy as god is holy n another complimentary verse is on chapter 1v22 which helps us understand how do we maintain the holiness freely given by his mercy and this verse says by being obedient to the word our obedience to yeshua is the only sanctification we have and hardships also yahveh bless
