    I m thinking that they wonder after the beast because he once ruled the Roman Empire and for ages he was gone and now he s back this might be reference to his deadly wound being healed I always thought they would recognize him from an ancient Bronze statue of one of the emperors and would wonder because he looks just like him the image of the Beast but I don t know I would like to know though
