This verse is in consonant with 1Peter 2:19, 21. Long Suffering is a fruit of the holy spirit. Apostle Paul burned With the zeal to suffer for the sake of the Gospel. Every christian ought to do same. Faith is a measure of how much you are willing to suffer unjustly in this sinful world. The just God is the only witness.
