    Christians say that this verse #18 prophesies about the advent of Jesus. On the other hand Muslims say that this prophesy is about Muhammad. Apart from the argument given above, the Muslim�s claim is further supported by the verse #20 which reads:
    �But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die�.
    According to the widely accepted Christian belief, Jesus died on the cross. Hence this prophesy did not fulfil in Jesus�s personality. On the other hand, Muhammad was not only raised from the brethren of the sons of Israel (i.e., Ishmaelites) but also did not die (neither on cross or through any other unnatural mean) except for his natural death; hence he is the right interpretation of this prophesy. [Here this must not be forgotten that Muslims do not agree with the above Christian belief that Jesus died on cross. They accept this Christian belief only for argument sake.]
