    Perhaps the rich man was "rich" in thinking he could be good enough to get to heaven. He indicated how good he is and Christ puts him in his place. The question is what can I do to get to heaven I believe Christ is saying you can do absolutely nothing. This agrees with Christ saying that all of his people he has chosen from before he created the world and not one will be lost. You can't save yourself God has to do it and all you can do is ask that it might be his will that you are
