Kathy GBU ....Lemme mention some thing about what Jesus did at Calvary...Jesus said if i be lifted up i will draw ALL men unto me...Thats what the Cross was for ppl like this young man that was in bondage to something or other....any sinner...While we were yet sinners Christ DIED for us..Thats all inclusive...Our conduct has nothin to do with it...Its what Jesus did at Calvary that the father sees.... Romans 10:20 kjv....I was found of them that sought me not and made manifest unto them that asked not after me...This N.C. at Calvary is all inclusive....I will KNOW them ALL from the least to the greatest and they shall no more teach know the lord for they shall all know me... Jeremiah 31:34....Remember Jesus said i come to set the captive free....I come not to destroy mens lives but to save mens lives

...... Titus 3:57.....Not by works of righteousness which we have done but by his mercy and regeneration of the H.G. that we are saved....Its not about us....When Jesus said it finished there are no more works we can do to obtain salvation....The H.G. is the gift of God....To humanity....God so loved the world....But we have to wait for his book to be opened b/f the Kingdom can come....The Kingdom is not here just yet...Remember God told Daniel do thy way Daniel till the words of book that is sealed is opened... Daniel 12 :8 kjv....That N.C. in his blood....I am the light of the world but the nite comes when no man can work...But Micah 5:3 tells us that God was gonna give them up till the woman is in travail and birth pains....And Rev. 12 :10 kjv says that NOW IS COME Salvation and THE KINGDOM of our lord and his Christ...etc...But plz note the kingdom does not come till the book is opened and the woman gives birth to the Children of the Kingdom....Unless you receive the Kingdom as lil Child you will in no wise enter there in....But not to worry as Jeremiah 30:6 Jeremiah sees all all all men in travail and birth pains...A time of Jacobs trouble which is an Israel of God .

Kathy lemme tell you what Jesus said in Rev.21:8 .....Every sinner will have his part in the lake of fire...Jesus said i come to bring fire on the earth and what if it is already kindled....Mans evil adamic nature....none righteous no not one is the kindling....Thus the need for that baptism of the H.G. nd fire....That baptism of PROMISE....Ya gotta realize that our God is a consuming fire and his wrath is his love for humanity....Whom the lord loveth he chastens thus we will all have to go thru that lake of fire....Which is baptism of the H.G. and Fire the gift of God...As Jesus tells us...Whosoever was not found written in that book of life was cast into the lake of fire...ty Jesus its simply what we need...Thats y Jesus is saying i come to bring fire on the earth....its what we need.

..... Malachi 3:2 kjv...Who shall abide the day of his coming...( 2 nd coming )....For who shall stand when he appears for he shall be as a Refiners fire and fullers soap....( a cleansing fire )...Which is his baptism of the H.G. and fire a cleansing fire....An internal cleasing of a new heart and a new spirit....A new innerman which is the H.G. That Child of Promise....As Jesus said that which is born of the spirit is spirit....A baby Christ thats y they spoke in tongues it was just baby talk....till the Child is of age....That New born babe desiring the sincere milk of the word is the H.G...Thats y Jesus was saying that which is born of the spirit is spirit which is the H.G. that Child of Promise....Our new heart and new spirit...But remember Jesus said he cd not speak for a while....Thus the tongues... it was just baby talk....Thats y he always refers to himself as the son of man....Whosoever receiveth one such child in my name receiveth me...That New BORN BABE IS SPIRIT the H.G.....ok lemme go

    Dear Kathy,

Ultimately, God is the only true and just judge of every person. It is sad that someone would say such a thing about someone who was addicted to a drug that is often deadly. We cannot know this son's heart. Even his mother does not know. It is obvious that his mom is very disturbed by his drug use and overdose. She may have been at the end of her rope worrying and speaking to him about getting clean. Give her some grace to grieve her son's death and reassure her that God does reach out to people in peril, whether one brings this peril upon oneself or not. He desires to save and all of His elect will be save. We just do not know what the Holy Spirit did in this son's inner self before he died. We would hope that He was indeed elected to salvation, but we cannot know this side of heaven.

I don't see how anyone can say that for sure. The answer would be maybe. There seems to be some sort of confusion as to the concept of the "unforgiveable sin". That; according to the Gospels is spelled out fairly clearly-that of ascribing God's Spirit to Satan (or Beelzebub otherwise known as the king of the demons) which is basically the same despite some blowback I have had on the subject. That is why Christ says that any offense against Him is forgivable but not to the Holy Spirit. This shows how the Spirit is God's testimony to the world which is to remind us of "sin; righteousness and judgment to come" ( John 16:8).

There is another common misconception around the "sin leading to death." ( 1 John 5:16-17). There are certain sins which Paul mentions in the Corinthian church such as when the man was given over to Satan so that the flesh may be saved. ( 1 Cor. 5:5). Indeed; Paul makes it clear that if Communion isn't taken properly many have gotten sick and "fallen asleep" (died) as mentioned in 1 Corinthians 11:30.

There is always the chance that in a last minute repentance (such as the thief on the cross) or perhaps right before death repentance can occur. This would certainly be the exception rather than the rule as sadly "few" will be saved ( Matthew 7:14 etc). There is a difference of someone who is in a lifestyle of sin compared to say someone that slips up once or twice (as seems to be the case with many Fentinol overdoses these days). We would also have to assess if the man in question ever confessed Christ previously; and if any fruit evident of true repentance was in his life ( Matt. 3:8-10). There is a whole host of other things Satan uses such as music and the occult; the desire to be popular; etc. which drugs can be used as a gateway. That is different; although tied in with the physiological dependencies someone is trapped in; or emotional state of suicidal behavior that triggers such a sad ending.

    Hope this helps somewhat.

    Agape.
