Why did Adam allow Eve to eat from the tree of life when God told Adam he could eat from any tree but that and he did it anyway with Eve, is this when sin started?

    Blessings Adam,

Did not God create man after His Likeness? Genesis 1:26 . We understand from James 3:11-12 ,the principle that things produce like things; a fig tree produces figs, olive trees, olives, a pure water spring, pure water, etc. All have the same qualities as their source, i.e. they are identical; their only difference being that the effect didn't create the source, rather, the source created the effect. The result is their oneness, their likeness.

It would follow, that what God creates is like Him, i.e. perfect, eternal, guiltless, glorious, sinless, invulnerable, creative, without fear, loving, etc. Yet we are not to be praised as God should be praised , because we did not create Him. To say that our reality is NOT being like God, it would follow that the statement "God created man after His Likeness," is false.

Have we fallen into the insane belief that what God created can be changed by our own mind? Or that what

He created perfect can be rendered imperfect or lacking? Or that we can distort the creations's of God, including ourselves? Perhaps it is in our own imaginations apart from the Mind of God we have chosen to forget that we've made up an autonomous creation of our self, thus believing the direction of our OWN creation is up to us, thus the belief we have the ability to usurp the power of God.

What I'm saying has nothing to to do with self centered powers, yet everything to do with Christ centered power. Nor does it separate us from God. On the contrary, obviously, it emphasizes our wholeness, and joins us with Him, being One with Him.

You are correct: Satan is very skilled at deceiving, including Christians.

    God Is

    Peace

    That's a straw man argument.

Eve had freewill and choose to sin and she did to be "like God." Maybe Adam wasn't even around initially.

Today, people try to tempt or convince others they too can be "like God" and some even assume they are a god, or the God. Obviously this comes from satan as he is very skilled at deceiving, including Christians. Emulating the character of Jesus and walking in His footsteps is very different than someone claiming the other self centered special powers- almost like a form of self worship, and separates someone from the one true God, what satan wants.

Adam i appreciate all of your posts i just wanted to mention something that is very dear to my heart about this 1 true God in Gen 22:17....God Almighty made a promise that he was gona multiply the seed of Christ his son as the stars of Heaven....And God was so passionate about this Promise that he swore by his very self...( this is the only promise that God made where he swore by himself)..(That i know of)...Simply b/c this Promise effected God himself in the seed of Jesus....As Jesus said to whom the WORD ( the seed of the sower ) came it made them Gods and the scripture cannot be broken....As the seed of the sower is very Gods seed the living word not the written word...How cd the living word make us Gods ?..Simply b/c the good seeds are the Wheat a baby Christ a baby God...Thats y he is saying that which is born of the spirit is spirit is The H.G...That Child of Promise...That New Creature that has to be born in us via that incorruptible seed that Jesus sows in our hearts and minds....Which is the H.G. The Kingdom that is gonna be born in us....Unless ya receive the kingdom of God as a lil Child...that Child of PROMISE...YOU WILL IN NO WISE ENTER THERE IN....The Child is the multiplication of God...Remember God swore by his very self when he made that promise of multiplication and regeneration....Thats y Jesus is saying to whom the word came his seed it made them Gods....Jesus has a seed that is the word the very seed of God...Thats y he has to know us...to sow that good seed in our hearts....thus the gift of the H.G. the Promise seed...Even back in the O.T. an intimacy with a woman when the hyman was broken ( our heart is broken with his good seed ) thus the marriage was validated...Remember John said he that has the bride is the bridegroom...And the Child is the H.G. as that which is born of the spirit is spirit as Jesus said ....b/c i have spoken these words ( his seeds ) sorrows have filled your hearts...A spiritual pregnancy...resulting in a new born th H.G.

Hiya Adam....Plz don't be upset...But we cannot tear out scriptures simply b/c you don't like them....This is our lord here in John 10:34 kjv....Jesus said have you neva read its written in your law....Unto whom the word came it made them Gods and the scriptures cannot be broken....That was his prayer in John 17:5 MAKE THEM 1 AS WE ARE 1...THE MARRIAGE----We should not even be having this conversation Adam....You know that a marriage is when 2 are made 1... Isaiah 62:5 As a young man marries a virgin so shall thy sons marry thee....As the bridegroom rejoices over the bride so shall thy GOD rejoice over you....We are gonna be made 1 with God...His prayer in John 17.... Isaiah 54 thy maker is thy husband the God of the whole world shall he be called.... Rev 21:2....John said i saw the holy city coming down from heaven adorned as a bride for her husband....There is no upper case or lower case in Hebrew....When he said we are gona be Gods is simply the marriage supper of the Church and and Christ jesus....When he spat on the ground and made his spit and the ground 1 thats a marriage of humanity the earth and his spit his words thus becoming a new creature the Clay and anointing the blindman with that clay the Church...His spit was his word and to whom HIS word came it made them Gods...GBU ADAM....But lighten up a bit....Remember his prayer in John 17:5 kjv

Alex, it's ironic that you accused me of "tearing out scriptures" for not believing you're a god. This religion you're pushing is not Christianity, but a false religion similar to tearing out only a few cherry picked scriptures, distorting them to mean what you want them to mean instead of what they actually mean, then throwing the rest of the Bible away.

I will defend the truth and will not back down so I am faithful to the Lord's calling. More Christians need to stand up for the truth in this society of lies. Have you have been deceived and your ears have been tickled by this religion? 2 Timothy 4:3

Inheritance is not the same as being a god. Being in a family of believers is not the same as being a god. Confirmation bias. There are various metaphors the Bible uses, but I noticed some you don't cite as much, like being a "slave" to righteousness, or being a lowly sheep in a big flock, and denying yourself to follow Jesus Luke 9:23 maybe because those don't fit the whole false god narrative.

The Bible calls rulers and people of authority lords (lowercase) as well, do you believe you are lord or that Jesus is Lord? Do you believe that you are god or that God is the one true God? I warn you that you are treading on dangerous ground close to blasphemy Luke 12:10.

Do you believe Jesus is Lord? Romans 10:9

Yes, Jewel, for mankind, This is where sin started. Romans 5:12-15

But even before the sin of Adam and Eve, Satan sinned before God and so did the angels that followed after him. So, sin originated in Satan. But we each choose to sin due to our sinful nature.
