It's odd how people claim to follow Jesus, but don't want to obey Jesus. It's like they want to be lazy, worldly and enjoy committing unlimited sin without any regrets, then they also want all the benefits of following Jesus, like salvation. Ever know a freeloader who only shows up when something is free, but never actually does anything productive. There are so many warnings Jesus gave about this exact scenario. Read the parables. Paul wasn't exactly relaxing and enjoying sin either, but was trying to be a "slave" to righteousness. He was "running the race". Christians are divided on this point. What side are you on? Is your greatest fear that you might accidentally obey God more than you actually needed to? Or is your fear of not being allowed into heaven? The fact is most will go to hell. The fact is that it takes effort to follow Jesus. A Christian is an active follower who is going somewhere- following the steps of Jesus. The fact is you might even be persecuted for your walk, maybe even from so-called Christians. Satan tries to deceive even Christians from thinking things are opposite of what they really are. God bless everyone and pray for wisdom. I read some of these comments and is quite shocking what I see sometimes, people have been deceived by the devil into thinking they can do whatever they want with no consequence and that obeying is bad and that disobeying is good. So clever is the deception, but one day every knee will bow and those with high pride will fall. Matthew 7:21

    In peace to you all.

THE greatest sin a man can commit is not to believe in Him whom God has sent.

    John 14:6 or John:6:29

John 6:32 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.

33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. Amen- Be kind to everyone and let us all have a good conscience before God. The sin that so easily catches us yes. And we hallelujah have a mighty Lord, He is King over everything and everyone. Every knee shall bow one day and we shall praise His Name, Amen. Love u all in Christ.

No belief in christ does not and will never circumvent judgment if you willfully commit sin and assume that belief in christ will bypass judgment. Everyone on this earth will be judged according to their works, not according to their faith.

When you do not keep the ten commandments, and break them , it is sin.

When you sin willfully there nooo longer remains a sacrifice for sin but a certain fearful expectation of judgment.

    This is the truth.

Now if you confess and repent from sin in sencerity and turn from wickedness, or unrighteousness ( sin, transgression of the ten commandments) then you may be granted mercy. However do not ever assume that willful disobedience to the ten commandments can be just automatically come back from. Never assume anything

Am so sorry that was not the intention that you all should now all believe the way you describe it about me.

We who have received the Holy Ghost know and watch out. After all, we go as slaughter victims every day. Many are tormented and bound, and even killed for their faith.

That's what I'm saying, we have the law in our hearts now. Not on stone boards.

Some have not experienced this unfortunately.

Jesus says in Matthew 15:1-20 iv got this today. Dear friend sometime its difficult to wrigt some words. And believe that everyone understands what one means, my fault. Please forgive me Also for the long wait for answers. Have been a bit busy. God bless us all in Jesus holy name, love u in Christ.

And let's all put Lord Jesus first of all, Amen

Thx for your response, in peace. Now I think we're done with the 10 Commandments. Long ago. A living Christian filled with the Holy Spirit will sin no more in this way as u Mean. Because everyone will not sin who have the Spirit of God. We dont do this at all, we got a new heart from heaven. And Because Jesus sacrificed Himself once and for all. With His blood He has cleansed us from all sin. His blood was clean. This is everywhere in the bible. We cannot and will not sin. If we make violations, we must settle our grievances of course. We can not sin, wil not sin, becouse we have being called from the living God. And I said Yes to the living God. Amen. Some may not see this until they accept and repend from death Deeds. All ppl have to see Jesus Christ as their King and Master in life. Now this is easy and misunderstand so do it right.

All people who believe that Jesus is born of the virgin Mary, dead and buried rose 3 day. Now sitting with God Father Him Self. And that He took the sin of all ppl upon Himself so that we might live in Him.

Who can contradict God and His Word? Do not put on vices and be bound in them, then u are not fre. When ppl get a new born life with the Lord Jesus Christ, see everything is new. We want never to go back to what was before in our death life.

Romans 14:9-13 God bless all love u all in Christ

Everyone is capable of imagining all types of truths that fit their own agendas. I have without a doubt proved from Scripture that any so called believer is bound by the ten commandments. The scripture I shared is only scratching the surface, I haven't even begun to share all the scriptures.

    1 John 2:4

"He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."

    Isaiah 8:20

"To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them." and on and on. Now if you want to believe some other religion then you have the right, but do not assume you are following the gospel of christ, and then try and lead others down the same path of darkness.

If you want to learn ask me a question I will answer with the word then all debating comes to an end!!

    Dear Watchman

    Deuteronomy 5:12,

"Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee", this is the 5th commandment.

    Colossians 2:16-17,

"16Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ."

Many of the commandments God gave to Moses, apart from the 10, are not valid any more, like taking an oath, like divorcing our wives, like hating our enemies (see Matthew chapter 5). The 10 commandments were a brief summary of all those commandments, or the 10 main ones.

Sin is against anything that is good and seperates us from God, All sin! Spiritual death accures when we sin against God.

Paul teaches we are dead to sin while we are alive in the body, of Christ.

We recognize our sin yet it cannot rule us, for We who live in the spirit are dead to sin. This is very important to know so that when we do sin, we have an advocate before God the Father. Satan job is to convict us of sin, and accuse us of it! This is what Jesus death on the Cross has given us, even power over death and sin! Repent and be Baptized

Sin is not anything that is not good.

    The exact definition is:

    1 John 3:4

"Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law."

    That's the ten commandments.

    The law

You need to get pass your pre conceived notions and stick to the Bible

Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

14For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. 15For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. 16If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. 17Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 18For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. 19For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. 20Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

21I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. 22For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? 25I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

    2 Peter

    3

    2 Peter 3:16

"As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction

This is Peter describing people like you who use Paul's writings.

But just in case your confused here are the words of Paul

    Romans 6:1

"What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?"

    Romans 6:6

"Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin."

    Romans 3:31

"Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law."

I could keep this up all day but I figure no amount of scripture will sway you from this doctrine of demons you have swallowed.

Every verse you quote is absolutely true. It is the Word of God (not the word of Paul). But every verse you quote must be read in its immediate context and also the context of what the entire Bible teaches about the Nature of Salvation. if you are teaching "sinless perfection" that is a false doctrine. If you are teaching that our obedience to the Law of God contributes to our salvation that is a false doctrine. if you are teaching that we can lose our salvation that is a false doctrine.

If we have become saved, it means that we have become Born Again. God has given is our resurrected soul in which we will have an earnest desire to be obedient to the Law of God. And we will see a significant change in our life when compared to a time before God saved us and we will develop a hatred for sin in our life and will grow in grace as our understanding of the Bible increases. God chastens those whom He loves as a father does his son (I paraphrase)

One purpose of God's Law is to show us our sinfulness and need of a savior. It is our schoolmaster to bring us to Christ in those whom God is saving.

Show me a verse saying once you believe you are saved.

I will show you five to one saying your lying.

    James 2:26

"For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also."

    James 2:24

"Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only."

    Romans 6:1

"What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?" Romans 6:2

"God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Matthew 7:23

"And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

That word is lawlessness or too be without the ten commandments.

These Couple of verse should keep you occupied from now on.

But if not there is a whole Bible full I could continue.

    Mr. Watchman

In coming to truth, we cannot isolate certain verses from the Bible while ignoring others that bear on the question. I and others have quoted several that do not fit with what you are saying.

Regarding losing our salvationthe Bible clearly teaches that when God saves someone they have been given Eternal Life. This is because we have been given a Resurrected Soul when God saved us. Life that can be lost is not Eternal.

Secondly God does not save someone BECAUSE they believe. Believing is a WORK. And the Bible is crystal clear that we are not saved by our works on any way. A saved individual BELIEVES on the Lord Jesus Christ with a faith that has been GIVEN to them by God. Remember that the devil believes that Jesus is the Christ but that is certainly not the faith of salvation. A saved individual will endure to the end only because he has a faith that has been given to him by God Himself.

In summary, we need to be very careful about the gospel we are following. If we are trusting in a gospel that involves some work that we need to do in order to become saved or remain saved that gospel cannot save.

Additionally, if we are following a gospel that takes away from or adds to the words of the Bible, that gospel cannot save. Rev 22:18, 19. In other words, the Bible alone and in its entirety must be our only authority for the gospel we are following.

Agreed! We should never take sin lightly. The price to propitiate was the blood and life of our savior. When believers take sin lightly and indulge without repentance, then the blood of Christ is trampled underfoot.
