    QUESTION?

Ephesians 4:4 ONE Body, ONE Spirit ......

Ephesians 4:5 ONE Lord, ONE Faith, ONE Baptism,

Ephesians 4:6 ONE God and Father of ALL .....

    What is this ONE?

Is it physical water, or LIVING WATER?

1 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God IN HIM ARE YEA ....

    CAN YOU PLEASE GOD?

Matthew 19:21 ......go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor ......

Acts 2:41 ....and were baptised ....this whole chapter is about the outpouring of the Holy ghost ....so it it batpism of physical water of living water?

Acts 2:45 ....and sold their possessions and goods and parted them to all men .....

If it's water baptism, and you are trying to please God why not go and sell all you possessions; also, and part them to men.

Coming to TRUTH is what pleases God.

Philippians 2:13 For it is God that worketh in you both to will and to do his pleasure.

The life in you is Christ, the faith in you is Christ's faith, the works are Christ's works, the baptism in you is the baptism of Christ (the Holy Ghost):

YOU ARE THE BODY OF CHRIST.

    John 14:6 .....I AM .... LIFE ......

    John 11:25 .....I AM ....... the RESURRECTION .....

Revelation 20:6 Blesses and HOLY is he that hath part in the first RESURRECTION ....

    TRUTH! ....will set you free!

You died on the cross; Christ was resurrected and gave YOU HIS LIFE.

Colossians 3:3 For you are dead, and your life is HID IN CHRIST with GOD.

    ONE ....ONE .....ONE .....ONE .....ONE

1 Corinthians 15:28 .....that God may be all (ONE) in all (ONE).

    God Bless ALL.

You are asking good questions, don't stop. Never stop.

Most Christians will never get deep enough to ask these questions.

My advise is to stop spiritualizing the Bible.

I understand most of Christianity spiritualizes many things in the Bible.

Never use a allegorical interpretation unless it is an obvious allegory.

Like Jesus calling himself a "door" is an obvious allegory.

ONE means ONE, as in "1" or a single thing.

I give you one example to help you understand.

Eph 4:5 = one Lord, one faith, one baptism.

Paul says there is ONE BAPTISM.

You can find at least 12 different baptism's in scripture.

Jesus mentions 2 different baptisms in one verse. (Holy Ghost Baptism and Fire Baptism)

Jesus calls his death a baptism. Luke 12:50 (another dry baptism)

These baptisms are dry and don't involve water.

Paul states there is ONE baptism.

He means exactly what he says.

It's not living water or physical water.

    Gal 3:27, I Cor 12:13, Eph 1:13-14, Rom 6:1-6

Paul is speaking of Spirit baptism.

Paul says ONE because its the only baptism active today in the age of grace.

Water baptism is the most divisive and argued over doctrine in the body of Christ.

Paul clears up ALL the argument over water baptism in one verse.

He tells us only Spirit baptism is active today. (No water baptism is active today)

If the church would follow their Apostle instead if Israel's program there would be no argument over water baptism.

Paul is the Apostle for the body of Christ.

I can show you over a dozen verses that tell us today to follow Paul.

The Bible is crystal clear that Jesus was ministering to Israel during his earthly ministry. ( Matt 10, 15, Rom 15:8)

The Bible is also clear that Paul was sent by Jesus himself to be the Apostle to the Gentiles.

Follow your Apostle Paul and let the words say what they say.

One baptism means exactly what it says- ONE

Rightly dividing the Bible is the only way the Bible can be properly understood.

    Hope this helps

    JESUS is the way, the truth, and the life;

No man comes to the Father,

    but by Him.

I and the Father are one

Blessed art thou, O LORD GOD of our fathers:

and to be praised and exalted above all for ever.

Without FAITH, it is impossible to please GOD

    Romans 1:17

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from FAITH to FAITH:

as it is written, The just shall live

    Romans 12:3

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly,

according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of FAITH.

    Ephesians 4:13

Till we all come in the unity of the FAITH, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

this, is every man's walk in CHRIST JESUS, seeking our Fathers Kingdom, from faith to faith, growing in our Redeemer and beautiful LORD JESUS.

HIS HOLY SPIRIT, HE DECIDES THIS!

When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I though as a child:

but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

    CHRIST JESUS, HE DOES THIS,

HE WHO THE SON SETS FREE IS FREE INDEED.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:

now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

    What say I then?

Walk in the Spirit and Ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

    And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three;

But the greatest of these is charity

let all things be done decent and in order.

We lift our WONDERFUL REDEEMER CHRIST JESUS HIGH ,

    and JESUS! LORD and KING,

He DOES draw all me unto Him

Increase in FAITH be multiplied to you, And much blessings also, in the beautiful name of our LORD JESUS

Glory to You a Father GOD for ever , Amen
