I'm very suicidal and unfortunately I have fought every demon tooth and nail and I still can't escape the thought of wanting to end my life .Thank you God bless

Dear Ruth, there was a season ago when I lost my husband that I wanted to die, and I knew exactly how to do it where I'd likely just go to sleep. And got worse as the days progressed to facing homelessness and trying to rehome my beloved American Bulldog. All I wanted to do was go to sleep and never wake up. Wanting to commit suicide was a living thing inside me...a possession. But God kept me from even attempting. I found out later that He had resolved this heartache long before it reared its ugly head. I found what I hope was a good home for my dog. I moved in with my sister, taking the things I could, and abandoning the rest. I still live with her. The Lord has blessed me so much for enduring that season of loss. I wrote and published a novel and am writing the second book. But most of all, I have the joy of the Lord in my heart. Seek the Lord, Ruth, lean on Him. He has it all worked out. Just believe and have faith. God bless you!

I am openly humble to the blessed response from I put this post up,I am very very grateful I keep reading them over and over to keep me safe from bad thoughts,trust me I'm a fighter I don't give in easy but this time seems more stronger than the usual attacks this is how I ended up here asking for help.Satan never wins God is my life and saviour my healer my everything.... I would love to share my testimony with the church due to my unfortunate past these factors in my life lead to me why I am here today speaking with you it is the power of the Holy Spirit sending me here.I'm from Northern Ireland so I do have a good testimony I just don't know how to platform it.

Dear Ruth , God has put you on this earth for a reason , put your trust in Him and He will fullfil His purpose with you , you are a part of His plan , just give yourself over to Him and let Him love you and put you where you need to be . Come back on here any time you need to be reminded how much you are loved .

Hold on to Gods unchanging hand Ruth. Fix your gaze on Christ alone! I'm praying for you tonight.I've been there before too and I can tell you it doesn't feel like it now, but you will get through this and you will be stronger for it, if you just hang on! Jesus will bring relief. Also maybe there's a dr. You could reach out to. There could be an underlying medical reason they could help alleviate.

God bless and keep Ruth in Your loving care tonight. Please Lord lift the heavy spirit and rebuke it in Jesus name! Replace it with the sweet peace that passes all understanding. Bring swift deliverance. For Ruth and so many others battling deep depression tonight.

My dearest sister there are 3 things I'd like to say.

1. I do understand what you are struggling with. Everyone has (as they say) they're own demons to fight with. I beg you to believe this you can win this but only with God's help. I was proud and stupid and was lossing everything. But when I truly let God in so much good came my way.

2. Listen to Suze! She is so right. God. Helped me find my true love. Been together for 22 years. If you do not know how (which many people don't,) please go to a bible church and ask the people how can you get closer to God. I'm sure they would be happy to help.

3. And to me. I will not give him the satisfaction of lossing my life from my loving Father. You see God knows you have a good heart you know how we know? Because the more you get closer to God the harder satan works to make your life hell so you would stumble. But that's ok. You get up talk to God go on your merry way.

Don't give Satan that satisfaction!

It's not worth it. It is something that I have gone through myself even now but something keeps telling me. The tomorrow is even better. Don't loose hope or faith. Keep in mind you have more to give in this life. You are chosen and therefore make your life a living testimony. I'm praying for you dear one.

Jesus fasten Your hold over this life that they may not swerve to this way of self harm. Retrain the heart with the value there is for his fate, the contributions to the world, and that no one can give a pounding to that happiness under Your care. Amen.

Dear Sister, you are not alone in this struggle. My prayer and concerns are with you and I thank God who is faithful in answering prayer. I also fight this battle which seems to have a strong hold on me. I can not wait until his return when you and I shall stand before him ANEW. Please Ruth , know for sure in your heart ,that God loves you so very much . He created you for a purpose , you may not know what that purpose is but you will one day know . Maybe there is some one out there who God made just for you to love and be loved by , this person might need you very much , and they may be a wonderful blessing to you . Please try to stay with us , life is a very precious gift , it's hard some times to see any good in this world , I do realise that I promise you , but look to the things that pertain to God , beauty truth peace love joy , all these things are available to you , put yourself in God's hands , decide to live and trust in your Creator to shower you with blessings if you will just open your heart and mind to Him , He will fill you with good things . Please , decide to stay with us and wait on the Lord . He loves you very very much and He will show you how much if you just give Him the chance .

Thank you Ruth for sharing what is on your heart and sorry for what you are experiencing and am praying for you right now. Please fight back those negative thoughts and recognize them as attacks from the enemy and question their truthfulness 1 Thessalonians 5:21. Another way to fight back is this Philippians 4:8, to make lists of God's blessings and fill your mind with that. Another way is to help others and escape your own thoughts while serving others. You are loved and have great value and God has you here for a reason! John 15:9
