But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. The word covering in this context refers to beauty. It is a glory to her and not covering in lieu for a veil. If the it is for covering then what is the essence of Paul discussing the subject knowing full well that every woman has hair on her head. Paul can not contradict himself.
